@FutGodzy I have never believed anything said by Laporta. He's a cunning politician. He knows the psychology of Barcelona fans. He knows how to exploit it. He's a typical Nigerian politician. I know him very well. His assurance of words has NEVER moved me, as a Barca fan.

A thought: Laporta knew exactly what he was doing when he publicly spoke about Álvarez. He knew it would provoke Atleti even more. My feeling is it was intentional. The club sees the operation as overpriced, wants to move towards Plan B, and is making sure the public narrative is that Atleti, not Barça, killed the deal.
