@thsottiaux @AriX First time Mac user here. Do I need to redownload the app to get this update, or it should update by itself?

There is an incredible team behind all this. The Mac computer use is the amazing work by @AriX and team and it truly delights. Under the hood is a little marvel of Mac technology. Capable of working in the background without disrupting your flow and achieving precision actions by allowing the codex agent to leverage a lot more than pure pixels.
Tibo@thsottiaux

Codex just got a lot more powerful. Computer use, in-app browser, image generation and editing, 90+ new plugins to connect to everything, multi-terminal, SSH into devboxes, thread automations, rich document editing. Learns from experience and proactively suggestions work. And a ton more.

@thsottiaux @AriX Going to have codex research guitar tones and then have him dial the presets in my guitar processor app on Mac. Let's see how much it rocks :)

I know it's nothing crazy but it's already proven super useful in my workflow. Fun time we live in — instead of waiting for an app you want, you can just make it. Also IMO waaaay easier than building a web app. github.com/heyderekj/dinky

Introducing Claude Opus 4.7, our most capable Opus model yet. It handles long-running tasks with more rigor, follows instructions more precisely, and verifies its own outputs before reporting back. You can hand off your hardest work with less supervision.

You don’t call a cleaning service to help them clean your house. You don’t go to a restaurant to help the chefs cook your food. So please, let the f*ck designers do their job. 🖤

@RealLAnative @BraddrofliT This is true. My daughter is like this although she is top of her class. For this we kinda have to be on top of things to keep her motivated. Nevertheless, I think the issues here is lying about it though.

Most kids labeled "too smart for school" aren't actually failing, they're just bored and disengaged. When a kid is genuinely gifted and way ahead, what usually happens is they get restless, tune out, and start acting out or underperforming, even though they could ace the work if they cared

@GabrielSpinu2 Yes, exactly, closer to red, than blue, which would qualify the original as more of a violet. The roman version (Tyrian Purple) was the hardest dye to produce in antiquity, and thus very few could afford it, which leads to our modern day association with royalty and nobility.

@GabrielSpinu2 I can see it, but I wouldn't necessarily tie it to the empire as a whole. Maybe more of a deep red + gold combo. But purple, though a different tone with more red than this one, does hint at the leading class.

Dap

I love @webflow dearly. Learning it changed the trajectory of my career so as a platform, its got credit in the bank with me and I tend to defend it from criticism. However, issues regarding stability have become way too frequent and it's getting very difficult to keep cheering them on. I sincerely hope they focus more on performance and stability over anything else. New featured might attract new users, but it's more likely that poor performance will cost you users.

@tamir_eden Not trying to be mean. Just to understand the plus value added. I am thinking some sort of store backup at data level would be handy. There is bound to be people that are going to screw stuff up even with dry runs :))

Technically you are right. We added dry_run option to help with governance, researched for time consuming workflows for ideations, created detailed result output and created a skill template to allow the community an easy way to expand. You can do everything on your own - but what for? :)
