I was thinking Apple was having their Windows 8 moment with the horrible UI baked into Sequoia... but no, this is worse than that. It's like they didn't even test the UI on actual Macs or with human beings using them. Team stay-on-Sequoia here...

Apple should add settings to enable the 80% limit in scenarios like when charging and connected to CarPlay. Which would prevent excess heat and overcharging on long road trips or for Uber drivers.

Over the last year, I tried the new 80% Charge Limit feature on my iPhone 15 Pro & TLDR: it's probably not worth it. I saw only a 1-2% battery degradation improvement compared to my iPhone 13 Pro's first year.
