@PierPuccini For the ticket integration I use linear MCP. For all the rest is lots of trial and error and constant iteration on the skills/agents. If you start a Claude session and lay down everything I said, I’m sure it will figure it out how to build it for yourself.

@PierPuccini I have an agent that just reads the ticket’s acceptance criteria and it figure it out on its own the script to test all scenarios. If it get stuck, it autocorrects itself, tweaks the script and try again until everything is tested. But sometimes I manually describe, yeah.

@HeyXinyang Yes, same project. It’s a bit tricky to set up concurrent builds, but it’s doable.

@everton_dev also curious do you use worktree to build multiple features on the same product at the same time? because this is also something that blocks me when I'm working on an iOS due to complicated dependencies management and all junk in the derivedData folder

@everton_dev I like using Expo with my dev build on device with hot reloading. Works well, especially since I make apps that require APIs like motion/healthkit. I've always found the simulator to be, not great.

My workflow is fully agentic. I’ve got autonomous QA pipelines using Axe, Maestro, and XcodebuildMCP, the agent itself spins up simulators and runs automated QA tests. Sometimes I still do things manually, but always on the simulator, my agents already launch it right after finishing a task. While the simulator is running, I’m already in multiple other worktrees monitoring other tasks, so it’s not “idle time.” Watching UI changes in real time isn’t really part of my day anymore, most of it is automated, and I just give it a quick look afterward to make sure everything’s good and gg.

@adamrspain Depends if you are working with UIKit or SwiftUI. Autolayout(UIKit) is pretty reliable, SwiftUI not as much. But basically I just test on 3 different simulators: SE, Pro and Pro max. I’m not doing any iPad dev nowadays.

@everton_dev What do you do about covering all the different device sizes? My first app is in capacitor and it has been a huge pain making sure elements don’t overlap etc on every iOS/ipad device Does native/swift not have that issue, everything sizes automatically?

@everton_dev @filipealva Interesting… feels like the upgrade has to unlock something they can’t reach otherwise, not just more of the same Curious to see how those tweaks play out

@NikiTsivitanou @filipealva Yeah, I’ve made this mistake. The first and second aha moments I gave it for free, and I put the CTA on the third one. It was a bad move for sure. But I’m doing some tweaks, let see how it goes.

@yo_swif I’m talking about my work as a full time iOS engineer, not my “indie development setup”, thats why I’m saying its the industry standard now, because I am in the industry, this is not a guessing game, pal. The amount of work I’ve shipped in the last 3 months is inconceivable.

@everton_dev then I expect to see at least one fully native, high performant application that runs across iOS and macOS. if you don't then you're not even competing in the same league with your setup.

@yo_swif The industry already adopted, there’s no going back. My work now is essentially managing 3~4 Claude code instances in different worktrees doing different tasks at the e same time + QA and code review. I can’t beat that coding by hand. No one can.

@everton_dev what's the urgency tho? AI requires 0 skill which is the entire draw of it. if it actually really does end up being "career suicide" to not adopt, it's really not like it'd be hard to pick up. the entire draw is that "anyone can do it" lmao.

@buildwithparas AI engineering is a completely new role, different from ML engineering. Also “before AI showed up” you probably mean LLMs, because AI dates 50+ years back.

@davemccollough I need to get one too!! Ever since I saw they relaunch it, I haven’t stopped craving one of those beauties. Meanwhile I’m playing around with z80 assembly to make a Game boy game.
