@SantiagoAuFund Bob Murphy said something like this that resonated with me. He said something like if you never sell / liquidate an asset class (gold, crypto), that’s the functional equivalent of not owning it at all. Thought provoking.

I have heard people say they will never sell their gold, never sell their bitcoin or never sell whatever their crisis hedge is. I wonder if they realize they will have to sell it if they want it to protect them when the crisis arrives….?

@Kane_1200 @PhilGalfond I’m a person operating from a position of almost total ignorance and have no idea whatsoever. Seems possible she engaged in non-verbal communication with someone at the table during key spots. Her eye contact seemed different from someone thinking about matters on their own.

@PhilGalfond If there was a cheating device, perhaps it was Rip that wore it and he signaled to Robbi. Total speculation and I don’t even know if there was any cheating.

After starting around 85% not cheating, I'm thinking maybe (Edit😎:) 80% cheating now? That said, unless/until we get more certainty, it's important to be fair & kind to the parties involved. Speculate, share evidence, share your opinions, but don't attack Robbi and Rip.

Obviously this is attempted mind-reading of the highest order, so totally unreliable as proof or evidence.

Also if this is accurate, it fits with RIP mouthing something that looks like “clean it up” to her before she left the table to talk to Garrett and Ryan on the casino floor. Maybe the play was too weird, and they panicked a little and overdid a cover up.

@bXdBooBoo @DougPolkVids If it were cheating (not saying it was), she was signaled that she had the best hand at the time, without the poker experience to understand the full scope, and wanted to bust him so she called.

The argument for she thought she had a 3 - Checks her cards facing a jam: she misread her cards Says "no" when someone says your hand has a 3 in it: she misheard Says I ran it twice because I had jack high: she was embarrassed ..... How many excuses do we have to make?
