Outside of her own art pursuits, MiRetratito is always striving to be a benefit to the people around her. Recently, during a Tezos community call, she helped spark an important discussion around the secondary art market. That conversation led us to want to learn more about @Tez2ndMarket as well. This initiative is designed to give collectors added incentive to engage with the secondary market by ensuring that all proceeds flow back to the original artists. For some collectors on Tezos, hesitation around secondary purchases comes from the concern that their tez may be supporting flippers rather than the artists themselves. Tez2ndMarket directly addresses that concern, reframing the secondary market as a tool for continued artist support rather than speculation.
