PRESIDENT TRUMP'S MESSAGE ON THE FEAST OF ST. JOSEPH "Today, I send my best wishes to Catholics and other Christians celebrating the Feast of Saint Joseph—the earthly father of Jesus Christ and one of the most revered figures in the Bible. Saint Joseph was a model father, husband, and worker, as well as a living embodiment of Christian virtue.  He spent his life working tirelessly, without accolades or recognition, to protect his family and raise the Son of God.  Through every trial and tribulation, Saint Joseph led his family with dignity, strength, and moral courage.  In the face of uncertainty and danger, time and again, he valiantly surrendered to God’s will with faith, fortitude, humility, and obedience—playing a central role in the life of Jesus Christ and the history of salvation. Saint Joseph also holds a distinct place in American culture, especially for the Italian-American community.  Every March 19, Catholics in New Orleans, Louisiana, and throughout the Nation construct beautiful altars in his honor.  From the factories of St. Louis, Missouri, and the deserts of Santa Fe, New Mexico, to churches, chapels, and homes all across our country, Catholics have credited him with extraordinary miracles.  He is recognized as the head of the Holy Family, the patron saint of workers, and the “Terror of Demons,” and he remains revered by countless citizens for his tremendous example of what it means to be a man, father, and husband. In recent years, our Nation has witnessed the rise of an extremist cultural movement that has sought to weaken the values championed by Saint Joseph.  But my Administration is offering a much brighter vision for our rising generation.  Instead of indoctrinating our young men with radicalism and hate, we must encourage them to embrace faith, get married, start a family, and raise the next generation of proud, freedom-loving, God-fearing American citizens.  Guided by his example, we will never stop fighting for Saint Joseph’s legacy in our homes, churches, culture, and public square. On his feast day, we honor Saint Joseph’s incredible life, we pay tribute to his countless silent sacrifices, and we vow to forge a radiant American future marked by the timeless values of faith in God, love of family, and devotion to human freedom." whitehouse.gov/briefings-stat…

Last night, after she’d gone to bed, my 16 y/o daughter receives a text from a friend. (We keep electronics in our room at night). I know my daughter isn’t gonna see it for a while and I know the answer to the girl’s dance-class-related question. So I just pick up the phone and answer it really quick as if I’m my daughter and leave it at that. Tonight, I see her giggling over her phone. I ask what’s up. Apparently, the other girl’s mother had just wanted to get an answer to the question really quick, so she picked up HER daughter’s phone and texted mine as if she were her daughter. (basically both of us were too lazy to go through the rigmarole of explaining, “hi, this is Mrs. So-and-so, and here’s why I’m texting you on your friend’s phone…” But the funny part was how the two girls figured this out. Because the first one was so appalled at seeing her mother‘s perfectly punctuated and capitalized sentences, that she felt she needed to come clean that it was her mom lest my daughter think she is that conscientious. And my daughter, likewise, didn’t want her friend to think that SHE uses correct grammar when texting either. So what I learned today is that it is apparently humiliating to be caught correctly formulating sentences via text.

@BackwardsFeet Of course, Fr. Paul, but what is also true is that there are people who will use such disagreements as a way to obscure their hatred. This is nothing new. The same old Jew hatred only people are a little more sophisticated these days.

Let's be clear. Anti-Semitism, which is a hatred rooted in ethnic or religious reasons, is evil. However, disagreement with the political and military actions of the modern state of Israel is not that.
U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops@USCCB

Catholics are called to reject antisemitism and the lies and conspiracies that fuel it, and to stand clearly against hatred and violence directed toward our Jewish brothers and sisters. To defend religious freedom with integrity, we must also reject antisemitism. @ArchbishpSample @archdpdx Watch the full video at: ow.ly/sYF550Yw6cA

@Gailsaysso @father_rmv @CarriePrejean1 really - so calling people "Anti-Semite" should be left unchallenged when Catholics rightfully challenge "jews" claims to Israel because it was given to them by God.

🚨#BREAKING: A South Carolina mother just shared one of the most disturbing school gender transition stories I've read in a long time. Her 14-year-old son attended Beech Springs Middle School in Spartanburg SC. For OVER A YEAR, he was changing into girls' clothing at school, and changing back before his mom picked him up. It was apparently a daily operation, coordinating with another student to bring the clothes, multiple bathroom trips, and deliberate concealment from his parents every single day. Multiple staff members at school had to have seen this. You don't pull off daily clothing changes in a middle school without teachers noticing. But NOBODY called home to tell his parents. Nobody except one teacher. One teacher the previous year did her job, she noticed, she called the mom, and she followed South Carolina law H.4624, which explicitly requires school staff to notify parents when a student expresses gender identity confusion. That call is the only reason the family found out at all. They got their son into gender-related counseling over the summer of 2025. They were engaged, they were involved, they were actively trying to help their kid navigate something difficult. Then the school went silent again. The pattern continued into the next school year and nobody said a word. Fast forward to February 2026. The mom gets her son's hair cut. He cries in class. His teacher sits with him for 10 minutes while he tells her everything, that he wants long hair like a girl, that his parents won't affirm his gender identity, all of it. Again, South Carolina law H.4624 exists for exactly this moment. When a student expresses gender identity distress to a school employee, the law says the school SHALL notify the parents. But the teacher didn't call the mom. She called DSS. That same day, February 13, 2026, she filed a child protective services report against this family for "medical neglect..." Medical neglect because A) the boy allegedly coughed up blood and wasn't receiving care. B) Mental injury because the parents won't affirm a gender transition. And... I'm not even kidding C) making him do "manly chores." The mom asked her son what that meant. He said "cutting the grass." DSS showed up at their home on Valentine's Day weekend. Two days later, the family took their son and got a chest x-ray. His lungs were completely clear. He never coughed up blood. The allegation was fabricated. On February 19th, five days after the report was filed, DSS closed the case. Unfounded. No evidence of medical neglect. No evidence of mental injury. Nothing. So just to recap... A teacher had a 10-minute conversation with a 14-year-old, decided his parents' refusal to affirm a gender transition constituted child abuse, invented or wildly exaggerated a medical claim to make the report actionable, violated state law by never calling the parents, and weaponized DSS on a family over Valentine's Day weekend. And the school's response? The principal wrote back defending the teacher. Called the DSS report "appropriate based on medical neglect suspicion." The report that was closed completely unfounded in five days. The report based on a medical claim that was disproven with a chest x-ray. That report. Appropriate The principal also mentioned that staff had received "gender identity training" and that the school followed "applicable South Carolina statutes." But the H.4624 violation, the actual law that was actually broken, was never addressed. Not once. The superintendent promised a full investigation by a Chief Administrative Officer. Instead, the principal, the direct supervisor of the teacher in question, provided the only written response, and used it to defend her own employee. This school watched a student secretly change genders during the school day for over a year and chose not to tell his mother. That's not an accident. You don't miss daily clothing changes in a middle school. They saw it. They allowed it. They made a decision, collectively and repeatedly, that the parents didn't need to know. Then when that same family's values came up in a conversation, the response wasn't to pick up the phone and call mom like the law requires. The response was to report them for child abuse. The silence for a year and the DSS report aren't two separate events. They're the same event. They both reflect the same institutional decision: we know better than these parents, and we will act accordingly, whether that means hiding things from them or weaponizing the state against them. This family did everything right. They got their son counseling. They stayed engaged. They were present. They got a chest x-ray to disprove a fabricated allegation. DSS came into their home, looked at how they parent, and walked out five days later with literally nothing. But the school is STILL calling it appropriate. The mom has filed complaints with both the school and the South Carolina Department of Education. The school defended the teacher. The state has been silent for over a month. Her son is now homeschooled, by the way and she says he's thriving. The school literally weaponized the state against a family for cutting their son's hair. Let that sink in.

I was ordained in 1998. I took a group of sophomores on retreat at a retreat center. We had a hard leave time because we needed to take the bus to get back to school before the buses left. So, it was time to pray mass and when I went to the sacristy to vest, I could not get in: a priest was in there hearing confessions from another retreat. In the end, I got a stole from my truck and explained to the students I was not able to wear vestments because of a weird situation. I told them this shouldn’t happen but I couldn’t figure out another way. During mass, the Bishop (Karl) came in to see the mass. The next day, he called and tore me a new one for 20 minutes. He was furious. I explained the situation and he told me in the future to not pray mass if I was not able to vest properly. I asked his forgiveness and learned my lesson. I say this because priests are normal people. We make mistakes and learn and grow. Somewhere out there is a picture of me praying mass in my clerics and a stole. You can post it and condemn me or rejoice that I learned something. The outrage machine is consuming people like this poster I’m replying to and it’s a tragedy. Jesus promises us that the measure we use to measure others will be measured back to us. I think of that every day.

Today, in Iran, in the middle of a war, the regime executed a 19-year-old national wrestling champion for the crime of joining January protests. 💔 After signaling to the world, including President @realDonaldTrump, that they would halt executions of protesters, the regime has done the exact opposite. Three young protesters, Saleh Mohammadi, Mehdi Ghasemi, and Saeed Davoudi, were hanged in Qom after a sham trial. Reports indicate torture. Forced confessions. No access to chosen lawyers. Closed-door proceedings. No right to appeal. I call on @GlobalAthleteHQ to stand with Iranian athletes who are being silenced, imprisoned, and executed simply for raising their voices. This is not just about sports. This is about human dignity.

It is grainy and hard to tell but it looks like he is sitting and reading a pamphlet during an environmental conference. Remember that the word pachamama in spanish also means mother earth and is not necessarily referring to a goddess. The photo shown actually translates the word for us to mother earth so we know it was not to the goddess.

The Catholic Church does NOT have a doctrine denying Jewish self-determination or Israel’s right to exist. In fact: - Since Nostra Aetate, the Church formally rejected antisemitism and affirmed respect for the Jewish people. - The Holy See officially recognised the State of Israel in 1993 and maintains full diplomatic relations. - Pope John Paul II, widely regarded as one of the most influential and respected popes of the past century and later canonised as a saint, became the first pope to visit the Holy Land, prayed at the Western Wall, apologised for the Church’s mistreatment of Jews, and explicitly acknowledged Israel and its right to exist. - More recently, Pope Francis has also affirmed Israel’s right to exist in peace and security. So please @CarriePrejean1, stop talking out of the ass you have for a mouth. You’re as much of a real Catholic as Piers Morgan is a Hindu. Your bottom-barrel IQ is embarrassing, and that’s putting it mildly. Stick to making porn.
