Acabo de cancelar mi boda, a solo dos semanas del evento, porque revisé el celular de mi prometida y descubrí que tiene una cuenta de ahorros secreta con más de $50,000 USD de la que nunca me habló. It turns out this happened and it was an IDF soldier. Netanyahu and the IDF and many other prominent Israelis have condemned this, and I appreciate them for it. It should be condemned. It should also be understood that there are evil and stupid people in literally every demographic or group in existence. Period. There are also, let’s not forget, plenty of Christians that hate Judaism and would gladly desecrate Jewish religious symbols, that much has become abundantly clear over the last couple of years. Call out the bad for what it is. This was bad. This soldier will and should be punished. The anti-Israel people and the Muslims will use this for a while to add to their narratives, but it is one of the very few instances of such that is true that they will ever actually share.
