I finally made the choice that I won't be political in my Twitter feed due to many outside circumstances between those I follow, the implications of what is said in Twitter, and the future of Twitter. Only game analysis and news. Maybe comedy with friends.

Well the event is over. Final thoughts innovation kills and AI will get a lot more f people killed if they don't get into it. Even if it's just for analytics, or mundane coding tasks, Chinese companies are already looking at new ways to use it. Gamers will have to adapt as the money saved by AI is already too appealing. Thankfully no one is pushing to fire anyone. Just use the tools to be more efficient with your job

Imagine if China had more than 100 military installations spread across Mexico and Canada. Then, on top of that, China expressed a desire to build a greater military presence in an actual US territory. And then, imagine the Nikki Haley of China saying that US opposition to Chinese military expansion is a “threat” and that the US doesn't get to dictate Chinese foreign policy. That's what the reverse would look like.
Nikki Haley@NikkiHaley

Xi’s message at the US-China summit was simple: stay out of Taiwan. That’s not diplomacy. It’s a threat. Taiwan is what Xi cares about most — more than tariffs, markets, or any deal. The Chinese Communist Party doesn’t get to dictate American foreign policy.

@ChinaEV_Eng_Lif I've been here forever and I still suck at ping pong. Now Badminton, that's fun. But I'd rather he have fun and learn more about China than hate on him.

As Trump concludes his state visit to China, pool reporter @Emilylgoodin says US staff took all badges and pins issued by China from reporters. They then put them (and staff burner phones) in a bin.

UPDATE: 🇺🇸🇨🇳 President Trump’s team reportedly can’t carry their regular phones during official visits to China. U.S. officials use temporary devices because anything entering the country, including phones, laptops, and tablets, is considered vulnerable to surveillance or data collection. Even hotel Wi-Fi networks and charging ports are treated as security risks, as per the Daily Mail.

@GameAddict @nikstankovic_ I mean, don't take the taxi to the airport? Especially in China, where you've got metros & express trains that feed into the airports. Last thing you want is large noisy airports close to a city.

Most people do not know this about annual passenger trips: China: 770 million air + 3.9b train ~= 4.7 billion Europe: 1.1 billion air, 8.7b train ~= 10 billion US: 1b air, 35m train ~= 1 billion China has 4x US population so US and China are roughly about the same, though China definitely prefers trains to planes. It also now is building its own commercial airliners (Comac C919), this is why buying more Boeing and Airbuses makes no sense and is just a gift to both US and EU. Europe is in a league of its own. Twice the population of US and half the population of China. There is a slight caveat. Lots of these train trips in Europe would qualify as subway trips in China. "Commuter rail", 30-50km. It's called subway in China. 32 billion subway trips in China annual.

One thing I'm learning about at this event is localization companies need to up their game if they want to stay relevant in the game industry. AI will be drinking their milkshake.
