I finally made the choice that I won't be political in my Twitter feed due to many outside circumstances between those I follow, the implications of what is said in Twitter, and the future of Twitter. Only game analysis and news. Maybe comedy with friends.

@RealCalebMaupin China is a very capitalistic country. Every Chinese person I know and many others are more focused on money making, good families, and education costs for kids. It's just we have a socialist gov sometimes in the way. I don't know if you know what communism really is.

We’re beyond the point where any rational person can deny the technological superiority of China. Now we move on to every possible explanation being offered for Chinese superiority *except* for the fact that their banking sector is nationalized

@llana Yet most socialist go towards authitarianism, which leaves out the people because "the people don't really know what they want, but we do". How it always works.

It's all in the words. CAPITAL-ISM: an economic system where CAPITAL aka MONEY owns the means of production and seek to grow, consolidating power, and controlling the world through the economy. Essentially economic terrorism. SOCIAL-ISM: a system where society is in control.
Power to the People ☭🕊@ProudSocialist

JD Vance: “Socialism is the alternative, if we don’t have a pathway to give people a sense that the system is not rigged.” Counterpoint: Capitalism has always been rigged for the rich, which is precisely why socialism is a better system for the people.

China is making romantic AI chatbots completely illegal. They believe people falling in love with AI is contributing to declining birth rates.

The new DSA platform is something. The government will take over food production and sales, ditto energy, medicine, airlines, and housing. Universal rent control, the end of capitalism, and a classless society (stated elsewhere in the platform). This doesn't sound like Sweden!

@NguyenGiap4 That's too bad. Most Chinese I know love the American dream and use it as a moral focal point towards their life including having a nuclear family, a good apartment and, a safe life. Sad there are people upset over things like exploitation that happens in China as well.

@Morgs_Take We're you here during Covid where they required everyone to get COVID tests every 48 hours or you weren't able to use public transportation or enter buildings. No one ever knew who was paid for the free testing of a billion tests every 2 days for over 2 years.

@JeanGreige Yes, in the past year the Nepalese people kicked out the communists, and Cuba moved to capitalism. But sure the voting of a few socialists in the USA so outweighs that.... I don't understand you.

@Noahpinion This is acting as if the legislative branch actually took responsibility and I don't think they do that. Socialism just will do anything to mold itself into power, no matter the costs. Sad.

@BigglesworthX @Chin9346 @MarxistBunch Yeah. Many westerners don't understand the issue. Most state schools are good enough for most jobs. China, Japan, and others take the university you went to super seriously and a deciding factor more than a GPA. Americans only cared if it was Ivy league.

My family is in Tianjin and every parents I know want to put their kids in either some private school or very good public school. Being able to receive education in relatively low cost does not always translated to "actually educated" as most people just went thru a mid college and get lost in a job market.
