Idec about them “copying” here because elemental stuff is often pretty much the same in most games, I just think it’s hilarious how Palworld fans will act like Pokemon is mechanically stunted and hasn’t innovated and then this is Palworld’s entire type chart system.

@SilvyVT One of the few universally beloved features of the last few Pokemon games is that they do this outside of battle too. Pokopia does this better than Palworld does. The animation quality doesn’t detract from the design problems.

@GameCryptidVG Just to toss out one example, all the animations for the Pals are extremely well done and makes all the Pals feel as if they have so much personality. Many of the animations make you feel the equivalent of when you see your cat do something cute.

I wouldn't consider it plagiarism. Copying some design elements even in the case of Grimtale... it's just not enough. The entire pal in question is too different to claim plagerism. Plus, they changed it anyway.
And they didn't do that for the vast majority of the pals.

@OzzzyGold @FurrotakoMX Even if you ignore the prevalent Fire type weakness, this is covering a total of four Pokemon most of which are not super problematic outside of their typing. Zacian’s typing did help it a lot but it was broken for other reasons too.

@GameCryptidVG @carbeeDM I found the klefki mission really easy so I guess that's subjective, but even if you had trouble it's not "forced" it's entirely optional. Plus there are side quests that blow XY side content out of the water like the museum one that gives you a unique vivillon!
