@kwgodfrey @RealShelfy Look at it a different way. Snell's highest IP was 180.2, which is exactly Nola's lowest full season total. Nola is "projected" to throw 15 more innings than Snell in 2024. Although it may seem insignificant, one can argue it is the equivalent of 2+ starts.

@RealShelfy Nola has pitched 200+ innings 3 times in 9 years. I get what you are saying but the inning difference is not that significant between him and say Snell. Last season Nola pitched 13 more innings than Snell.

Just my opinion. The Summer college league are just to long. Players end their season and go straight to the Summer college league. The summer league ends and they basically go straight back to school. End earlier and allow the players some time at home with their families.
