Thanks to the Ukrainian esports community and @MFA_Ukraine efforts, TikTok accounts streaming and promoting the Alabuga cybersport tournament have been blocked, following similar decisions by Twitch. Alabuga recruits youth, including minors, into producing Shahed attack drones — directly enabling the killing of Ukrainian civilians in Russia's genocidal war of aggression. Grateful to @Twitch and TikTok for their principled decisions. A clear signal: sanctions must be enforced, and digital platforms cannot serve as cover for Russia's military propaganda or the recruitment of teenagers into producing weapons of terror. We welcome the start of a constructive dialogue with @YouTube on the same issue and trust it will lead to consistent results. Gaming and digital ecosystems cannot shield the militarization of education or complicity in Russia's aggressive wars.
