The @EastCoastRail which happily handed over 50 km of railway line near Ganjam to SCoR, neglected the Brahmapur (BAM) railway station in Odisha all these years, stalled its modernization, delayed the coaching depot at Golanthara & cancelled the Wagon factory at Sitalapali.

Why it should be under Rayagada Division? Why not a new Railway Division at Brahampur? Past 100+ year's Ganjam being neglected only due to this things. Now no more sympathy game. We need our own division. No need to be under KUR or RGDA Division after Bahuda & Gopalpur Port.

I have urged Hon'ble CM @MohanMajhiOdisha & @AshwiniVaishnaw to stop the bifurcation of the Palasa-Ichchapuram section from ECoR. Southern Odisha's 1.5Cr+ population & industrial assets like @GopalpurPort, Tata SEZ, & proposed Palur Shipbuilding Hub need a New Railway Division at Berhampur.
