@SawyerMerritt are you bothered by the shift in narratives ? The goal was 20m EVs by 2030. This goal has simply been scrapped and replaced by let's go 100% robotaxis. It might be the right goal long term but it kind of is moving the goalposts....

Tesla will release its Q2 delivery and production report a week from tomorrow — but in terms of vehicle deliveries, I don't think a report has ever mattered less. The real story now is Robotaxis. They’re finally starting to arrive, and so far the service has been a success. Now the question is: how quickly can they expand coverage and scale? If it's quick, it changes everything.

@GargaBloom @Tesla_AI Not by far. If train is below 20% occupancy small cars are already more efficient. But trains and ev supplement each other. Trains for high density and intercity travel. Evs for short distances or low density areas. Perfect combination.
