I’ve hunted in conditions like this not far from the Arctic Circle. A shelter like this is wonderful in a storm. It’s not particularly warm because the updraft from the fire sucks in air from the open door and the room never gets above the ambient temperature. It looks cozy, but you’re dependent on your sleeping bag for any retained heat during the night.

I agree that the operator of the 3-wheeler is responsible for its use. The injuries were just so common and the lawsuits generated so much liability (spinal cord injuries are expensive) that they weren’t profitable to keep on the market. I’ve owned two 4-wheelers and they were best backwoods/hunting vehicles I’ve used (including horses).

@MAC_Arms @alphafox Exactly my point: these spinal cord injuries are rarely fatal; the issue is they’re permanent. Even trampolines can’t compete with them for “most patients in a wheelchair”.

@GarrettsBrain @alphafox Studies in the late 80's and early 90's found that in non-fatal injuries, the 3 wheeler was 3x's more likely to cause an injury. In terms of fatalities, they are evenly matched. The 3 wheelers hurt more people because of side rollovers due to their 3 wheel design.

The 3-wheelers do something that motorcycles and 4-wheeers don’t: they “wheelie” incredibly easily, and when the front wheel flips fully backwards, the handlebars strike the rider’s neck causing paralysis. I’m a neurosurgeon and I’ve treated a half-dozen of these. Unfortunately it’s a design failure.

@alphafox They were death machines. Manufacturers voluntarily stopped importing them in the 80's and in 2008 a law passed making importing them nearly impossible. So, they now import 4 wheelers which are just as dangerous and hurt/kill just as many people if not more.

To be taken seriously in the role you describe, Dispatch must actively and consciously avoid reflexive "Bulwarkian" responses to Trump. Make an effort to separate the bluster from the real and occasionally praise the positive outcomes he's enabled. Also, avoiding making common cause with Democrats means not endorsing progressive, far-left candidates. Someone should inform David French.

Completely different character to S-Class / 7 Series but one that’s perfectly fitted to the customer of today, and certainly of no less perceived quality than the Germans.
