@TomSteyer You’re supposed to be “businessman” and you don’t understand why different retail operators could have different prices?? So are conveniece stores fixing prices when they charge 50% more for the same bottle of soda sold at a supermarket?
Why is gas at Chevron almost $1 MORE per gallon than the exact same gas at Costco? Because Chevron is fixing prices. They are openly taking Californians for a ride. We need to use our windfall profits tax now!

@OliLondonTV According to Wikipedia, in 2017, Time magazine named her one of the 100 most influential persons in the world. I’ve never heard of her. I guess I’m just ignorant.
Sarah Paulson wears dollar bill over her eyes to call out the ‘One Percent.’
The actress, who is worth an estimated $12 million, used her outfit to call out the world’s elite while attending the $100,000 per person Met Gala.

On Day One, I promised to cut permitting times and bring real accountability to the process.
On Day 100, I’m proud to announce the opening of the online application for our Permitting Dashboard pilot program – a critical step toward a more streamlined system that will save businesses and residents time and money.
Your government should work for you, and this dashboard will be one big part of making sure it does.

HIGHWAY WARNING: Fans heading to World Cup matches in New Jersey are being urged by NJ Transit not to walk to the stadium amid concerns about safety and access.

Nothing pisses me off more than when I get off an airplane at Newark Airport and, in my face, is a row of shirts in a store screaming, “I Love New York.” Really? We just landed in NEW JERSEY!
Let’s be honest, putting “I Love New York” on a t-shirt these days is basically like putting “I Love Socialism.”
With the World Cup fast approaching, my “Jersey Pride Tax Credit” will create a 25 percent tax credit for businesses that sell New Jersey-branded products and require priority retail space in major transit hubs for businesses that showcase products that promote New Jersey.
FIRST 100 DAYS: Gov. Mikie Sherrill’s first 100 days in office are nearly complete. How would you rate her job of running New Jersey so far?

We can’t make New Jersey more affordable until we make housing more affordable.
My Executive Order will make it easier to build more in this state – boosting supply and bringing prices down.
@GovSherrillNJ So builders put in the minimum required “affordable housing” units and then charge insanely high rents for the non-affordable units, while destroying every last piece of available open space, and getting tax breaks on top of it all.
@GovSherrillNJ When you say “housing” you are referring to the cheaply constructed Soviet style apartment buildings that are destroying the character of New Jersey. I don’t see any single family homes going up anywhere.
A safe home is the foundation for everything. But housing costs have soared across New Jersey.
Today, I signed an Executive Order laying the foundation for a new government-wide housing strategy so we can cut red tape, get shovels in the ground, and build.
This is a critical first step toward driving down housing costs across our state – making it easier for families to live, stay, and thrive in New Jersey for good.
Let’s be the state that builds more housing.
You walk through a grocery store now and it feels unreal.
$10 apples.
$8 cereal.
$11 eggs.
Same store. Same paycheck.
Different reality.
And people are just expected to absorb it.
Nearly 70,000 New Jersey residents have dropped health coverage since January and many more downgraded to plans with higher costs just to stay insured.
Republicans and Donald Trump let tax credits expire, driving premiums up and pushing families to skip care or risk medical debt. It's heartbreaking and was entirely preventable. njspotlightnews.org/2026/04/about-…
@NYCMayor The shopping cart video is laughable. Do you ever see low income shoppers loading up on fresh fruit and vegetables? No way. Typically you would see six packs of Coca-Cola, Pringles, Entenmann’s cakes and pies, popsicles, Fruit Loops, processed deli meats, Hostess Twinkies, etc.
At our city-owned grocery stores, staples like eggs and bread will actually be affordable.
And we're going to do it the right way, without cutting workers' pay or dignity.
Because in the wealthiest city in this country, buying groceries shouldn't be an unsolvable equation.
It should be simple, fair, and within reach for everyone.
@BernieSanders Remember when Trump was accused of over-valuing Mar-a-Lago and Democrats were arguing it was only worth $18M? So I guess if Bernie is now claiming it generated $125M of income then it was never overvalued after all.
The Trump family has made $4 billion off the presidency.

@DanClarkSports As a time traveler from the distant future, I would point out that Ohtani, Judge, Soto, Trout, etc- in fact none of your 2026 players - would fare well against players from Andromeda.
OPINION: Babe Ruth would be a bust in the modern era.
He never played against the best African American or overseas players.
He dominated an era where pitchers were mediocre, fatigued and had primitive training.
He was unhealthy and unfit, and ultimately a defensive liability.
