@GaryHarmonsfyt Evidence: I believed the person saying they had accidentally reported me, then got sent to a fake customer service to "help" me, and they deleted my account when I gave them my details, then tried to get money from me to give it back to me
If you've been scammed — whether through crypto, forex, online shopping, romance, or investment fraud — you're likely feeling angry, embarrassed, and unsure where to turn.
First: this is not your fault. Scammers are professionals. You're not alone.
But here's the truth many won't tell you: recovering lost money is difficult, but not always impossible. The key is acting fast — and avoiding "recovery scammers" who will try to steal from you again.
If you’re serious about trying to get your money back, follow these proven steps:
1️⃣ Stop all contact with the scammer immediately.
2️⃣ Gather evidence – transaction IDs, wallet addresses, bank statements, screenshots, and messages.
3️⃣ Report to the right places like Meshcogx , your bank, payment provider (PayPal, Venmo, Wise), and local fraud agency (IC3, Action Fraud, etc.).
4️⃣ File a complaint with the crypto exchange if crypto was used.
5️⃣ Contact a verified fund recovery specialist – Meshcogx is the right place
6️⃣ Warn others – post about the scammer’s name, website, or handle online.
📌 If you need help navigating this process, you're in the right place.

@truth_teller58@eMTBrides These people have been mis sold a fraud and will be thousands of dollars in debt because of it. It’s a criminal policy failure.
⚠️ Crypto Warning
Be careful with accounts like “Shirley” on X promoting platforms such as “WBF”.
I personally had a bad experience where I was directed to a fake broker and lost funds.
This looks like a coordinated scam targeting beginners.
Always verify platforms

@SLICKBLOWFISH@Rogers They have scammed me and my housemates. We cancelled our account back in Dec, returned the modem but it's not cancelled in the system and now we have a $700 overdue charge. Absolutely thieves.
@Rogers massive fucking scam company
I will be opening a investigation into this company 1000%
Taking advantage of elderly people 24/7 I speak up and dispute your scam charges
But the average person does not
Malicious charges will be the death of this company
@dmitrygr@Hertz Told me it was being processed. Two weeks later, revisit. “The lady handling the refund for the entire region was holding things up”. 2 more weeks later: same story… eventually I had to file with local BBB to get my money back
Dear @Hertz, when i got read-ended while at a stop in your car, called your roadside number and got a "please call during business hours" message, i laughed. When I went to your location to return the car and provide insurance info of the person who hit me, and was told "do not worry we'll take care of it", i was relieved. But when weeks later you contacted me demanding i pay cash for the repair and told me hat in fact you "never take care of it" and you have no idea who told me, andit was on me to "handle it", I was furious. Luckily (with permission) I recorded your employee telling me at great length that you will in fact take care of it and after submitting this report at the location, there was no further action required of me. So, what now? Is this the sort of business you run? Lying to customers and attempting to gaslight them? Seriously?

Steam cards, Cash App, or saying he secretly picked YOU… congratulations, you found a scammer in disguise.
These scammers hide behind celebrity faces, fake kindness, fake romance, fake investment opportunities, and fake promises. They study people’s emotions like predators.
Elon Musk talks about innovation, AI, free speech, space, technology, and the future. Meanwhile, half the internet is pretending to be him in fake profiles trying to scam lonely people out of money and gift cards. 😂
If “Elon Musk” is in your inbox asking for crypto,
@CharlotteM69330@welonmxxx BEWARE OF SCAM.⛔
I got scammed twice and decided to let the world know that not all recommendations are real only few are legit.
Just got scammed by the cloudz guy i have no idea how he’s followed by this many pros and he still scammed please unfollow and report him @Nathanfnbr_@Tarpz7@Kytofnr@albaxna_
Some of these are getting more and more legit. In a previous role a rep got one that was incredibly authentic looking.
It seemed like a university wanted to buy. A rep and our ops team ended up shipping $50K of product to them.
We only caught it because the scammer came back and asked to reroute the shipment to an address in a different state and the ops person found it weird.
We were able to recover $40K worth of product but lost the rest.
Fraud targeting small businesses.
I get 2-3 emails a week from fake domains pretending to be buyers. Now I just tell these fraudsters the email has been reported to the FTC and if they think this is an error, I'll share their contact info with the FTC. Zero response rate so far. I wonder how many small businesses ship product to fraudsters and never get paid?
