El día de mañana quizás sea al revés, y en digital este de oferta mas barato y en físico mas caro.
Se llama “contra mas opciones de consumo, mejor para los jugadores”. Pero a algunos les cuesta entenderlo.

@TheSphereHunter Kinda envious. I need to save for a half decent pc. In the meantime, I'll continue to enjoy the physical playstation collect I do have - and not give another cent to Sony or any of these anti-consumer companies.

recent events have got me playing a lot of games via GOG. it's been an incredible experience playing newer titles DRM free with no launchers, notifications, or popups. not having steam or PSN tied to a new game that just sits on my computer as itself feels so freeing

@wildecoyote74 @PlayStation @Sony First Light is not on the disc in full. That is missing a few GB's of the game and is NOT on the disc in full. Don't uninstall that game from your HDD/SSD, just in case.

@HikaruAkiraFox Sony are probably hitting record sales with all the hyper consumerism of physical media this is causing, so these upcoming digital sales don't matter much.
All whilst it changes nothing in terms of Sony's strategy moving forward. Just supporting them and lining their pockets.😔

You do realise ALL the law firms involved in this are doing it for publicity?
it's happened with iOS, STEAM etc... they get 15 minutes of fame against the incumbent, case gets thrown out and it's free advertising for them.
These kinds of lawsuits have zero % of succeeding..

Sony just got hit with a $457 million lawsuit because they decided to stop making physical PlayStation games after January 2028. Their own move to kill discs is now being used against them — the company can’t pretend players still have a physical option anymore when the PlayStation Store becomes the only place left to buy new games. They tried to force everyone into their ecosystem with no competition and higher prices, thinking nobody could push back. Turns out removing consumer choice just gave the lawyers everything they needed. Big corporations love taking away what we actually own until it costs them hundreds of millions. Sony played themselves. Physical media still matters. Ownership still matters.

@Masterchiefin21 Ain't buying shit. I ain't even replacing another of their cheaply made dual sense controllers. Hall effect sticks should be a bare minimum today. Especially when you're paying £60 a pop. Which with their current potentiometers cause stick drift and need replacing every 6 months.

Make no mistake, the people who buy these expensive peripheral are the same people who build large physical libraries, and the folks saying "Fuck you Sony" right now.
