Any Anaesthetists out there who have completed PACES and can share advice? Took Part 1 + 2 Written prior to ACCS2 and then FRCA became the priority, seems a shame to 'waste' the hard work by not completing the full thing and can definitely see it being helpful for Anaesthetics..

@MissBethanEJohn Wow 😯, that is very brave! But if it wasn’t right for you then you’ve made a good decision. If you are after an improved work/life balance, how about hopping over the drapes and becoming a neuro anaesthetist?Whatever you decide - good luck!

So that’s it. As of this week I’m no longer a neurosurgery trainee. I’ve given up my NTN after 6 years in neurosurgery. My stomach still flips when I think about what I’ve done. I still can’t quite believe I’ve done it. I’m not sure if it’s brave or stupid? 1/n
