@sean_john24 @StrongIslandJay @MySportsUpdate He didn’t get a raw deal. He started off 4-13. In his second year, he started 7-4 and then dropped all six games to finish 7-10. Which would get someone people fired.
The next year he had the poor luck of Rodgers injury but 7-10 after a 4-3 start. So another collapse.

@LegerDouzable Can you explain what off-ball LB means in the most simple terms.
I think of a LB who covers TEs and the run as opposed to a rush LB. Someone in the mold of Wilber Marshall/Darryl Talley historically or more recently like Jamien Sherwood when the Jets had CJ Mosley.

@LegerDouzable WMD is a good player who is still young. Simpson could be very good if he sits/learns. Brazzell’s father was actually drafted by the Jets in 1998. He has great size/speed.

@ZackBlatt Do the Jets make the playoffs with Wentz in 2023? He’d have been better than Tim Boyle.
It’s insane that the Jets knew the problems they had in 2022 and left themselves 1 QB injury away from it again in 2023, which of course happened.
They needed to break from Zach after ‘22.

One could make the case that as great as Ray Lewis is, that system was also set up to benefit him. They had Sam Adams and Tony Siragusa on the line and in later years had Haloti Ngata.
