I know y’all are liars and avoid self reflection but I’m not so ima say it….I absolutely hate how hard it is to stop keeping tabs on someone who treated you like garbage.

@nomad_dissident @Heghoulian A lot of those symptoms come from environment though. You can have CPTSD which is treatable and the symptoms manifest similarly. If you’re inaccurately diagnosed you can think your brain is just wired that way when you may in fact get treatment to recover.

@Heghoulian There is an issue with growing Neuro-Diversity (ND) identity movement, with a tendency to self-diagnose genuine syndromes. This is leading to people not treating them, and the people who genuinely have them, seriously.

Notice how nobody has personality traits anymore. The way Discourse has it, no one is kind, or scatterbrained, or inconsiderate, or inconsistent, or brave. Instead people have diagnoses: autism, BPD, depression, ADHD.

@OctoAbbi And neurotypical people also don’t get dopamine doing those things. It isn’t often fun to do adulting but you train your brain to do tasks even when it doesn’t give you immediate reward. Any brain can be trained for that, though I acknowledge that can be harder for NDs

As many of you already know, I am facing the unwarranted targeting and persecution by the DOJ and FBI at the direction of the Biden Administration, like most J6ers. To say it’s a shock is the understatement of the century. Being handcuffed and shackled isn’t something I ever thought I would experience. Yet, through it all I remain and will remain steadfast in my convictions. This experience for me, has only served to shed light on the challenges conservative Americans, Christians, and Trump supporters face daily. Whatever comes my way, though it may be difficult, I am prepared to face it. Together, we will get through this. Thank you so much for the love and support. Reading your messages has already gotten me through some difficult days. ❤️

my boomer-est opinion is that you have to force yourself to do things that are difficult and uncomfortable and you have to do it often, while you’re young and your brain is still flexible. yes, even if you are (functionally) mentally ill.

@katefeetie terrible take especially since you mentioned mentally ill people. the burnout and meltdowns that are associated to "leaving one's comfort zone" when not neurotypical can literally be fatal.

@francisxwolf I’ll play both sides here: The anxiety comes from going to the grocery store, and institutionalization isn’t often helpful HOWEVER OP’s point that being unable to go to a grocery store is an abnormal amount of anxiety that needs TREATMENT meaning to FIX IT

@ikiiiam My BIGGEST problem when making this (right after ep 1) was the Fabian/Gorgug, Troy/Jeff matchup. Hard choice. But at the end Troy is an athlete turned artificing repair man, and day to day, Jeff acts better than everyone else and Troy would ask everyone if they are their dad

@hutchinson They’re so myopic. It completely escapes their conception that a worse group is likely waiting in the shadows to take advantage of the power vacuum.

Most lefties that post stuff like this have a romantic idea of revolution. They imagine an unprecedented era of collectivism and unity. The reality is that a revolution today in America would (imo) almost certainly be won by actual fascists 🤷🏼‍♂️
