There are deer all over my neighborhood

One day I will pet them and we will bond.
It’s a sanctuary for them here can’t hunt them. Cause it’s populated pretty heavily I think. By people lol.

In my circles the agencies won't take you if you have "significant debt" but even if they did, you are going to spend the better part of 2 years raising the rest of your support from dozens of small churches. Which means visiting and preaching in hundreds of them.

Racist and antisemitic Christian Nationalist “Rook” (look who follows him 👇) is complaining that the church won’t fund young men to start families, so he’s advising them to exploit foreign missions to clear their student loan debt instead. And if possible choose a “white country” to make their time “worthwhile”. He pushes for manipulating “the stupid system” to “achieve our goals”. Yeah, that’s not how missionary funding works. The missionaries have to either be well recognized within the congregation with work to show, or they are a part of some missionary group. And, you need to keep sending updates with benchmarks to keep receiving the funding.

@not_our_guy that will result in a decent job. Pay off your loans, get married, and start a family. Many of us have done it over the years. Wanting to be sent as a missionary to pay off your loans and not really caring about the mission field is wrong on so many levels.

@not_our_guy No, the church will not "give" funds to start a family. That's not good stewardship. Helping someone who's down on their luck is different, but paying off someone's student loans, isn't prudent. If you have student loans, hopefully, you were intelligent enough to get a degree

@reformedgirly_ I think if you want to put in the work, you can be successful. Of course, I think any business you own, takes a ton of work to get it going. I have several friends who've started businesses and they made huge financiaal sacrifices to get started and then worked 15+ hours a day
