@Bootstraps99 @TheWARmonger_ I mostly agree, but I think nix and stidham, if you can get 6 innings out of nix and 3 out of stidham, for 1 game, can pitch just well enough in that last month to maybe hold them to less runs. It’d be like a 8-7 final score but given the specific scenario it’s not impossible imo

This is unreal. If the Rockies and Broncos played a 162 game season, the Rockies would go 162-0 winning every game by whatever score they chose to that day.

@TheWARmonger_ Meaning they get 5 months of playing the exact same team every single time, they will learn how to both play higher level baseball and specifically get a very strong feel for everything the Rockies do. It’s still 99.9999999% the Rockies go 162-0, but I think they might lose 1 in

It shouldn’t - but it genuinely surprises me how the NBA has a fundamental misunderstanding of this issue.
Stop trying to fight a negative (No tanking) and start trying to create a positive (how do we make all teams competitive - ie NFL)

Shams: NBA presented 3 anti-tanking concepts to Board of Governors. 1. 18 teams in draft lottery with flattened odds and lottery for picks 1-18 (bottom 10 teams all have 8% chance at top pick) 2. 22 teams in draft lottery with 2-year cumulative record used and minimum win total needed 3. 18 teams in draft lottery with bottom 5 all having equal odds for the top pick, lottery for picks 1-5, and bottom 5 teams having a floor of pick 10 Concepts will be tweaked and voted upon in May.

Kingston Flemings said Milos Uzan told him “don’t show them tears.” But one moment in final seconds caused Flemings to cry at mid-court.

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams recently filed four trademark applications to legally claim the "Iceman" nickname for his own clothing and merchandise line, but Spurs legend George "The Iceman" Gervin is officially fighting back. Just days after Williams submitted his paperwork, the 73-year-old Spurs legend filed his own competing trademark applications for both "Iceman" and "Iceman 44."
In his legal filings, Gervin's team made sure to point out that he has been using the moniker commercially since 1979- a full 22 years before Caleb Williams was even born. Gervin has also gone to the press to defend his legacy, flat-out stating: "There's only one Iceman, and I am he."
