Concern re poorer drivers with older (and dirtier) cars has influenced Govt's #E10 consultation. But is it misplaced? Research on britishbioethanol.com/single-post/un… shows older cars are mostly found in richer communities (pos as 2nd / 3rd car in household). This is a case of tail wags dog.

This shows v clearly, how short transport (+heat) are in comparison with renewable power in meeting RE targets. Shown by REA @ #sharedambition18 event. E10 would be a quick win, says Nina #BE10percentgood
