@EwenDCameron Tipping point why?
Why not when Kenny was assaulted in the cup semi final?
Why not when Nygren was shoved off the parkat Hibs?
Why not when Maeda was taken out by the Motherwell goalkeeper?
All fans should unite against greetin only when it adversely affects you.

🚨SFA STANDS BY JOHN BEATON
This season has been an utter embarrassment and last night was the tipping point.
I’ve never seen a decision, in Scottish football, to be so widely condemned and this should be a watershed moment for our national game
All fans should unite against Temu VAR and the poor refereeing standards.
And before anyone says it….YES….I’m very aware that Hearts have benefitted from some poor decisions this season.
However, we need to look at the bigger picture here and demand change.
A good start would be…
…SACK WILLIE COLLUM.

John McGinley@jhnmcgnly
Reported by @Telegraph that the Scottish FA regard the decision to award Celtic's penalty at Fir Park as correct. Head of Referees Willie Collum will address the situation in the VAR Review Show next week.

My Aliyah visa came through today! This means in one month, I will officially be Israeli.
I will be righting what I feel is the interruption of my people’s and my family’s story. After generations of exile, dispersion, survival, and rebuilding, I will be returning home.
For me, Aliyah is not simply the act of emigrating. I have already done that three times. It is an act of reconnection: to my people, to our land, to our history, and to our future.

My take: the ball hitting a hand is not always a handball offence. You have to either
1.) deliberately touch the ball with your hand, or
2.) ball hits your hand/arm when it's made your body unnaturally bigger.
This isn't deliberate, and if the ball hits his hand - which is on his forehead in the middle of a normal footballing challenge - he hasn't made his body unnaturally bigger. Because the ball would have hit his head anyway, so his hand on his head does not make his body unnaturally bigger.
Furthermore, VAR can only recommend an on-field review for a clear and obvious error. There is only one camera angle available, which does not show that the referee has missed a clear and obvious error. We can't see clearly where the ball hits.
This is categorically not what VAR was brought in for, and it all needs ripped up in the summer. This is a really poor look for Scottish football, as you can see from the international condemnation online since the game.
You really have to feel for Hearts. Unless you're a Celtic fan of course, that must have been class. But if you're not a Celtic fan. Deary me. Could be a generation defining decision, never mind season defining!

Last night’s incident wasn’t corruption. It exposed the incompetence of our officials.
A severe lack of composure from Andrew Dallas and John Beaton, coupled with irrational decision-making, has potentially cost us someone finally breaking the Old Firm dominance we’ve suffered for over 40 years.
How can such an important decision be made from one camera angle and under 20 seconds of review? It exposes how little training these guys have for moments of this magnitude.
The idea that it’s corrupt is nonsense. The SPFL want Hearts to win the league. Neil Doncaster is judged on his ability to promote our league and bring in better TV deals and sponsorship.
Given the attention the league has had because of Hearts’ title push, the league becomes way more attractive to sponsors and broadcasters if Hearts get over the line.
It’s also more favourable for member clubs chasing investment. Potential investors looking on and seeing what’s been achieved at Hearts only makes clubs like Hibs, Aberdeen and Dundee United more attractive.
That interest fades when you see what happened just as we were getting to the finish line.
That’s what makes last night so damaging.
Just when we were on the brink of breaking the norm, of crowning a new winner of our top league, the officials showed how amateur elements of our game still are.

@Scotland2Philly @samueltowers331 @ScotlandSky @Tyndale7 To be fair the decision not to award Hearts a penalty at Fir Park benefitted both Celtic and Rangers. Rangers then shat the bed on Sunday and couldn't take advantage of it.
English

@samueltowers331 @ScotlandSky @Tyndale7 I’m a fair football fan. If you can’t see that 5 bad decisions in a week to benefit one team is a problem, then this conversation is pointless
Win by any means necessary. The Celtic way.
You’ve got the Zoom title and you’ll probably win the VAR title on Saturday
English

♥️ The Foundation of Hearts has called on the "highest standards of decision-making" in Saturday's title decider vs Celtic, releasing a statement highlighting concern about recent decisions.

@ScotlandSky Added time had finished, it was a foul throw, and the boy headed the ball. Ref is rotten and corrupt and needs to be sacked. SFA needs independent refereeing teams (from abroad) and a better time keeping system independent of the ref - hooter blows when time’s up.
English

The fact a club feels required to do this indicates the institutional preference by the stakeholders of the game in Scotland for celtic .
I would hope that people across the entirety of scottish football now understand , this is not a west of scotland bias , this a celtic bias that has stage managed the fixture list to enable celtic . What motivations ? Money , marketing, and selfish interest .
The whole of the Uk can see you now , there is no hiding place . @The_FOH @JamTarts @ScottishFA

@ScotlandSky Only the last two games though. Obviously nothing contentious happened before then.
Fuckwits.

@adriancoll1 @chris_sutton73 Goal is scored after several minutes of checking VAR, Motherwell arguing etc.
Check facts before tweeting Adrian.

As you like to say YOURE BETTER THAN THAT!!!!!!
5 mins added, the guy headers it at 97mins, game shud be done already. Arm only up there cos the Celtic guy jumps and his shoulder pushes the well players arm across.. it’s an utter joke thats why everyone is imploding…
Good luck Hearts on Saturday against Celtic and the officials, I hope on behalf of Scottish football you get a win against the odds

@EwenDCameron As well as the footage obviously showing it hit his hand, his reaction to "heading" the ball is a giveaway too.
English

It’s not a penalty and the world knows it. There’s no debate to be had. It’s a header.
The ref and VAR have, and not for the first time this season, had a major say in the outcome of a game.
The world of football is laughing at us.
As for the pictures that ‘conclusively show it struck the hand?’ Give me a break ffs.
The pics circling, from the side where the hand is raised, will always look as if it struck the hand. It didn’t.
I’ve attached pics, as an example, of how a picture can trick you into seeing something you want to see.
So the pics circling can go in the bin.
The issue here is Beaton and Dallas and how they gave a penalty decision from one view of the incident. It’s scandalous.
Scottish football needs to unite and tell TEMU VAR to GTF.

English

@MotherwellFC Stonewall handball. Read the rulebook for goodness sake.
English

@FoysolChoudhury Stonewall handball. Check the rulebook before spouting nonsense.
English

What a joke. If that’s a penalty, then it tells you everything about the standard of refereeing in Scotland right now. Even the pundits looked shocked. So sad to see the game going this way.
Decisions like this only leave fans questioning the consistency and fairness of officiating in our game.
@JamTarts — you are still at the top and all we need now is a draw or a win. Go to Celtic Park on Saturday, put in a big performance and remind everyone that football should be decided by the players on the pitch, not decisions like this.

I’m disgusted by the Muslim terror protest we just saw in New York City.
We must:
1. Deport every non-American involved — get them the hell out.
2. Revoke citizenship for recent frauds and send them home.
3. Stop this foreign invader invasion now.
I will fight Muslim terror every day I’m in Congress.
