if you’re living in LA, and safe, please share footage of what you’re seeing in the comments here. think it would be good to have a single, easy thread to read, to help people understand how bad it is right now

Anybody in Alberta had a used tool bar hauled on a trailer rather than towed? I’ve been told it has and can be done, but haven’t found anyone that will. 60’ Pillar no tank!

Why is the federal government regulating manual transmissions being sold in Canada starting 2025? This government is out of control with overreach .

HOW many in ALBERTA voted for TYRANNY ? SMITH & UCP are out of control on a power trip. SEPARATION/SOVEREIGNTY act today. SHE is sounding similar to a Dictator. Call an ELECTION, let the people decide in Alberta. Do we continue with DEMOCRACY ?

@ChristiFriesen That the media isn’t always what they say it is. We aren’t evil corps trying to poison the masses.

Going in to the high school to talk to 7’s and 8’s about farming today. If you could get infront of a class of kids to talk about farming, what would you say? What’s one thing that you think these kids should know about farming?

@KeithDoerksen Went over to Bowden to watch it eat on 100bu wheat. Was absolutely impressed, and the simplicity of the machine was crazy!

@Agfinity @ChristiFriesen You shouldn’t have any outstanding debt to farmers!!! You got paid the first thing you should have been doing is paying them! You shouldn’t be in business period!

Just an awareness post that farmers still aren’t being paid for their grain that was sold through @Agfinity. Farmers are starting to speak up!

First off - Those CEOs are paid based on the return the companies they run bring in. That whole, supply and demand thing... Secondly - Firefighters in Alberta average an income of $87,000/yr or $45/hr. This increass in areas where firefighters double as EMTs. Thirdly - Firefighters aren't in it for the money, nor could any country afford to pay them what those CEOs make. They chose their profession for reasons of their own, knowing the pay. Lastly - cuts to corporations increase investment attractiveness, and keep companies in Canada and atteact new ones, companies that employs endless thousands of people, who's money then gets pumped back into our economy and budgets through income taxes. This is good for the working class. Stiff taxes and policies to corporations deter new investment and cause corporations to look elsewhere for their operations, costing thousands of jobs. This is bad for the working class. This fire has nothing to do with corporate policy and everything to do with our inability to effectively respond to wildfires. To bring corporate into this is an absolute pointless topic. Corporate policy and forest fire management are not intertwined. They are 2 completely different areas of government policy.

Heartbroken by the news that a firefighter has lost his life while battling the wildfires in Jasper. He served Albertans with unwavering bravery, and his loss is deeply felt. I’m keeping his family, friends, and his fellow firefighters in my thoughts.

@AlbertaChay @TheMandrewCan @JustinTrudeau Hourly wage from job postings. Wildland fire fighters are not the same as structural firefighters in municipalities and many communities in Alberta they are volunteers and only get a tax credit.

Journo asks @ABDanielleSmith if she "regrets" making "cuts" to the wildfire budget. Smith increased the firefighting budget by 50% in her first year, to the highest it's ever been. That's gonna hurt.
