It’s the inside camera. Someone asked Sheriff if it could have been an animal that the camera picked up and he said (paraphrasing) anything is possible but unlikely inside. I don’t think the inside cameras were mentioned ever again. That was either our local presser (night 0) or the first presser (day 2)

How exactly was Nancy Guthrie’s doorbell “disconnected”? 1:47AM — Doorbell disconnected 2:12AM — Software detects person on camera If the doorbell was disconnected before 2:12AM, why does it still appear attached to the house in the footage? Was it disconnected from WiFi? What exactly does “disconnected” mean here?

I’m perplexed Rebecca, I’ve always thought the “doorbell camera” is at the front door, and that’s also the only video/images we have of the suspect, so I’ve always assumed everything pertained to the front door camera. If so, this timeline just doesn’t make sense to me. I need to @hotwire405 to chime in on this digital stuff.

Calling YouTubers “journalists” simply because they stream online is inaccurate. Journalism is a profession with ethical standards, verification, accountability and formal training. Owning a camera and monetizing commentary does not automatically make someone a journalist. 106 days later, standing outside someone’s house with a livestream is not “investigative work” and it is not journalism. There is no active crime scene left to document there. At this point, it becomes spectacle, not reporting.

@TrueCrimeBelieb None of the streamers in question have professional LE /criminal psychologist on . People are PAYING these creators to ask a question only to be told “I dunno” or called a “whackadoodle” yet they come back. These people don’t even realize what’s being done to them. It’s insane.

Is it possible someone in Nancy Guthrie’s family is involved in her disappearance? Yes, but it’s also possible that they aren’t. We have to stop bullying and harassing victims families just because they are family members. Because at the end of the day, if they are not involved, you’re only causing more harm to people that are already suffering. We need to have more empathy for people.
