30 Days of Reading and then some! Day 7 On the very last day of this 37 day long journey of reading together, i wish to thank every single mentor teacher, student authors @tomeenthusiast @TitikshaAntil23 and all my wonderful author friends @SavieKarnel, @lesleydbiswas , @MrigankaDadwal,@garv5137, @VarshaSeshan, @NainyMamta,@dipuli, @NayanikaMahtani, @schahm, Dr. Abha Mathur , Mrs. Sigrun Srivastava, @YoSwaroop , @ShobhaTharoor, @Vikram70 , Roopa Pai, my own teachers @GauravKhokhar26 and Dr. Seema Sarohe and my dear friend Professor @nidhi_kalra for contributing to the program and making it an unforgettable journey. Today we bring you a recommendation from Mrs. Geeta Menon @GEETAMENON2 She been associated with Children’s Book Trust, New Delhi, the pioneer publishers of children’s books in India, since 1989. At present she is working as the Editor of Children’s World, one of the oldest monthly magazines for children in English, brought out by the Trust. The magazine, which is in the 56th year of its publication, nurtures creative talent in children by publishing their writings and paintings. Menon has edited over 200 books in English for children in different genres—including concept books, picture books, general fiction, science fiction, historical fiction, non-fiction/information, short story collections, travelogue, folk tales, biographies and mythology. Besides presenting papers related to children’s literature at various seminars, she has authored many short stories for children and adults alike. Here's to reading and to the many worlds it takes one to!

30 Days of Reading Day 13 . Today's recommendation is from Calcutta based children's author Lesley D. Biswas. Some of her well known books are @PenguinIndia 's 'Chumki and the Elephants', 'Chumki and the Pangolin' and 'Unlucky Chumki'. Her book 'A Conspiracy in Calcutta', published by Duckbill, an imprint of Penguin Random House, India, won The Binod Kanoria Children Books Award. A big shout out to @lesleydbiswas for this amusing, intriguing recommendation!
