Plyler v. Doe has guaranteed every child access to a public education since 1982. Today, Congressional Republicans are holding a hearing to challenge that. @MALCTx and Texas House Democrats are fighting back, demanding Congress leave Texas kids' education alone.

Today, I attended the grand opening of the National Japanese American Baseball Exhibit at the Houston Public Library! Grateful to the JACL for bringing this important piece of #AAPIhistory to Houston. Check out the exhibit at the Central Library until June 1, 2026!

Two weeks ago, I had the opportunity to join leaders and neighbors for an inspiring AAPI community event hosted by @GeneForTexas. In House District 135, our diversity is our greatest strength. The AAPI community is an integral part of the fabric of Cy-Fair, contributing to our schools, our small businesses, and our local economy. Representation matters, and it is vital that every neighbor feels they have a voice in Austin. I am running to be a representative who shows up, listens, and fights for the priorities of all our families.
