Let’s say it as it is shall we? If Villa were unwilling to compromise on their asking price, one club alone was willing to pay it - the choice is then between staying at Villa or joining Chelsea.

Lots of people slagging off Harry Kane, saying he "never turns up" in the biggest games. Obviously struggled vs Argentina, but he's had a great World Cup, scoring six goals despite mediocre service much of the time. No service whatsoever yesterday. Criticised for dropping deep, criticised for staying up front, criticised for not single-handedly winning the game when the team has completely stopped playing.
