@OfficialDomNBA @hoodieskeenasz If you cant be unbiased, I cant help you. There is 0 legitimate arguments in 01 who was better. There is 0 legitimate argument who had a better peak. Now, a better career as a whole is an argument but a peak is not

@Genesis_Bucs @hoodieskeenasz "significantly" absolutely not. Kobe closed the gap immediately after 2000. It was a 1A 1B thing with them. Kobe was asked to do way more than Shaq after 2000

John Starks says Lebron doesn't even belong in the GOAT debate 🔥 "You had questions about him(Lebron), you never had a question about Jordan, if anybody should be considered is Kareem and Jordan, that should be the 2 Goat questions. You never had a question about mike, nothing i cant think of nothing, he just made play after play down the stretch. Guys make mistakes but he didn't make mistakes" (h/t @paulsbballshow)

This is why Longevity stats need to be normalized across generations. If Steph Curry played in the 90s and 2000s, his career would have been done by age 25. The biomechancial treatments that saved him were non-existent back then. Similarly, Kobe's career would have been extended if he recieved the same innovative achilles treatment as KD.

The crazy part about Kobe is that if he doesn’t tear his Achilles, he plays past 2016 & at a reasonably high level for his age. He was carrying that ancient roster in 2013

Jordan had Pippen & Grant drafted to his team by year 4 Magic was drafted to a playoff team with peak Kareem. Bird was drafted to team that surrounded him with multiple HOFers by year 2. Kobe was drafted to a playoff team with Shaq entering his prime Duncan was drafted to a team with an all-time great big man still in his prime Steph's franchise gave him Klay, Draymond, Iguodala & Durant within his 1st 8 years. Kareem got Oscar in year 2 Even Wemby has already been blessed with Harper & Castle by his 3rd year. LeBron's best teammate his 1st 7 years was Mo Williams.

1999 Duncan is the only Duncan I can say is near Kobe. But career wise, they not really close. Kobe is in Jordan/Lebron conversations, not Duncan. Duncan is fighting with Shaq and Hakeem

@AntwanWilson17 @WhozMEECH @ShannonSharpe Kobe doesnt have a shred of a valid top 5 argument. If you wanna be biased and put him a little higher thats fine but it still has to be at least somewhat arguable, even if the argument is weak. & there is not a single shred of an argukent or any criteria that will put him top 5

@Genesis_Bucs @WhozMEECH @ShannonSharpe Too many examples of solid basketball minds who see Kobe as 1 or 2 to take your comment seriously. I don’t rank the greatest guys, there’s a tier of greatness .003 of the roughly 5K NBA players have reached, both Kob & Bron are there. Shannon’s hypocrisy is the issue here.

We don’t care that you have LeBron as your Goat @ShannonSharpe We want to know why LeBron winning championships somehow took Kobe from 2nd best in your eyes to #9 all time. We need context for that. If you don’t provide that we just continue to think you a plant 🌱 x.com/Thechat101/sta…

Bruce Bowen ranks Kobe over Duncan and Bron isn't even in his top 5. Saying he's better than Kobe because he has more career accolades is like saying... "James Worthy is better than Dr. J, because Worthy has more rings and more finals MVPs than Dr. J." Kobe > Duncan > LeBron
