Abolish ICE. Put Border Patrol back on the border. Maintain existing border security measures. If you don't make the last one Democratic policy, then get ready for all the Republican videos showing thousands of people streaming across the border, with the caption 'Democrats are for open borders. Do you want to go back to that?'

You can want secure borders and an accountable government. Security and humanity. That shouldn't be too much to ask. But Republicans in Congress are about to hand ICE over $100 billion for three years, with none of the bipartisan guardrails we’ve built up over decades. Those guardrails matter. They preserve records of deaths in custody. They ban shackling pregnant women. They guarantee members of Congress the right to inspect detention facilities. Republicans are stripping all of it out. I sit on the Appropriations Committee. Our job is to hold agencies accountable, one year at a time. That’s the power of the purse. The Republicans want us to abandon oversight for the rest of the Trump Administration. It’s totally unconscionable. kevinmcnellis.com/posts/ICE_acco…

Beware the empathy exploit. Empathy is good and right when thought through (deep), but can be deadly to civilization when simply stimulus-response (shallow). For example, releasing a repeat violent offender may feel good at first (shallow empathy for the criminal), but it is wrong to do so when that person will go on to hurt or murder innocent victims, as there should be deep empathy for future victims.

If Hillary, Obama, Biden, or Kamala... If ANY OF THEM kept talking about a ballroom, swore it would be privately funded, and then asked taxpayers for $1 BILLION DOLLARS with gas and grocery prices through the roof, people would have rightly called them "out of touch elitists." And then? IMAGINE if any of them had said "I don't think about Americans’ financial situation." Seriously think about that. Not only would Republicans not tolerate it, DEMOCRATS would not tolerate it. There would be loud, incessant calls for impeachment. So why is trump getting a pass? Why isn't that grifter-in-chief being harangued about it at every turn? Why is the cowardly House Speaker let off the hook about it? Why are you letting JD Vance's smug ass tell you "Oh, he didn't really say that." COME ON, AMERICA.

Donald Trump knows he controls DOJ and has Congressional Republicans wrapped around his finger. So now the depths of his corruption know no bounds. @SpeakerJohnson and my Republican colleagues: silence is complicity. When we take back the House, I will ensure every crook involved with this scheme is held accountable.

House Republicans have abandoned all pretense of even trying to lower costs for the American people. With their poll numbers—and President Trump's—sinking like a stone, they’re working to pass culture-war resolutions and plutocratic legislation to penalize the poor instead of bringing down the high cost of gas, groceries, housing and health care. Democrats are working to make life affordable again for our people. MAGA Republicans want to placate Donald Trump and serve the billionaire class.

BREAKING: HELL YES! Hawaii's Democratic Governor Joshua Green signs a law to destroy the power of the corrupt Citizens United ruling — reducing corporate influence and dark money donations in his state. This is a blueprint to save our democracy... “Hawaii is taking a brave and bold step to get corporate and dark money out of America’s politics. It will send a powerful message that will be heard loud and clear across the Pacific and across the mainland," said Tom Moore of the Center for American Progress, the organization that helped mastermind this plan. The groundbreaking legislation redefines corporations to ban them from spending on elections or ballot measures and instead restricts them to spending money on lobbying, a far less effective form of influence-buying. Citizens United is often pointed to as the epicenter of our current political nightmare. It holds that corporations as "people" are entitled to spend unlimited money on political issues because such expenditures are supposedly a form of First Amendment-protected free speech. The only real restriction is that they can't donate directly to campaigns, but the proliferation of Super PACs makes that a toothless rule. Thanks to Citizens United, corporations have twisted our government to serve their needs over the needs of the American people. Politicians have bent over backwards to slash regulations and weaken labor power so that they can siphon up more donations from big companies to help them win elections. It's a total inversion of what the Founders envisioned for our country. “If the states are not brave enough to challenge Citizens United and other court rulings at the highest court in the land, those rulings will stand forever. We need states to step forward in order to challenge these rulings," said State Rep. Scot Matayoshi. This could be the start of a deluge of such legislation. Currently, 14 other states have introduced similar bills although none have yet advanced. The time to pass them is now! Please ❤️ and share to demand that your state pass a law like this!

SHOULD PRESIDENTS BE BANNED FROM TRADING STOCKS WHILE IN OFFICE? It was revealed this week that Donald Trump made thousands of stock transactions in just the first three months of this year. Should this be allowed? Your Thoughts?

Stone cold racism on a scale I have NEVER seen in my lifetime is happening in real time.  Louisiana Governor Landry suspended a primary election — where tens of thousands of people had ALREADY VOTED — to redistrict and eliminate Black representation. Our country is supposed to be about the expansion of liberty and freedom. We're seeing the exact opposite.

All this talk of Britain being ‘finished’ or that our country has fallen… We’ve been ‘finished’ again and again through our long history, and time again and again we’ve shocked the world by getting back up. That’s what we do. We get up. Our people are worth standing for!

PabloReports: What do you make of this $1.7 billion slush fund that Trump is proposing for Proud Boys, Oath Keepers, and pardoned fraudsters? Raskin: It’s illegal, unconstitutional, and outrageous. Congress controls the spending of money from the federal government, and we never voted to establish a $1.7 billion fund to pay off insurrectionists and his extremist private militias, and we would never spend money on that. So it needs to be blocked. It’s an absolute corruption and prostitution of the Judgment Fund.

And they were all winners, imagine that. It's the golden age for the Trump crime family. A pair of new reports released this week by the U.S. Office of Government Ethics disclosed thousands of stock transactions made by President Donald Trump in the first three months of 2026. Many of the equities listed in the report are from companies subject to close regulation by the Trump administration. The filings, which do not make clear which accounts or personnel handled the trades, include more than 3,700 transactions featuring purchases from companies like Meta, Proctor & Gamble, Boeing, and Adobe. The value of the individual transactions is listed in wide ranges, totaling at least $220 million up to $750 million cumulatively.

Feisty is proud to be a Democrat!
On 6.16.2025, Eric and Donald Trump Jr announced the launch of a new “all-American” cell phone service called Trump Mobile, with a flagship golden phone soon to follow. The phone, priced at $499, received $100 deposits from 600,000 people and was slated to launch in August 2025. Nearly nine months later, no one has received the phone. Since then, Trump Mobile has dropped the made in America claim and now says designed with American values in mind," an "American-proud design," and "shaped by American innovation." In other words it is not made in America. Deliveries are supposed to start in a week and the phones may be refurbished ones. The Trumps got you again, MAGA fools. When will you ever learn? #DemsUnited

Trump campaign: "Donald Trump is famously teetotal, claiming he has never consumed alcohol, including beer or wine. This lifelong abstinence is largely due to the death of his older brother, Fred Jr., who struggled with alcoholism. He has cited this personal history as a reason to avoid alcohol and cigarettes entirely." Trump last night: I guess it all depends on who owns you.

If this report is true, this is an outrage. The Judgment Fund pays court judgments against the United States. It is not Donald Trump’s personal piggy bank. And that is exactly what he is turning it into. Look at the scheme. Trump sues his own IRS for $10 billion. Trump controls the IRS. The judge on the case is already asking whether the two sides are even on opposite sides. So Trump cuts a “settlement” with himself. He creates a five-person commission. He picks the members. He can fire them at will. They meet in secret. They keep the names secret. And they hand out $1.7 billion in taxpayer money to January 6 rioters and entities tied to Trump. It is illegal. Congress controls the purse, not the President. The Judgment Fund was never meant for political payoffs to the President’s friends. You cannot sue yourself, settle with yourself, and then write yourself a check from the Treasury. And it fits a pattern. This same White House is already using the Judgment Fund to pay off companies to kill American wind projects. Congress needs to act. The power of the purse belongs to the Congress and the people. Not to one man and his friends. abcnews.com/US/trump-poise…
