There’s lot of this whole “Landon being a top pro/HUNL player/etc.” being thrown around. I’m not. Not yet. I make a lot of mistakes. In many spots. Poker’s very difficult. But I’ll get there, it takes a lot of time. I’m just trying to get a little bit better each day 😅

After Aaron Baddeley sought advice from a famed swing coach, he shot a six-under 64 in the opening round of the Sony Open. glfdig.st/CEc750D98G7

Gonna start a company where people pay me $400/month for access to pizza, and when they want pizza they can call me for preauthorization and I’ll tell them where they can go, how much they can buy, and what kind they can get. My company will pay for 50% after the first $250 spent

Success isn't an end state. Success is having the freedom to focus on the grind you actually enjoy. Most people should spend way less energy trying to get rich and way more energy building a tight-knit friend group that will be with them until old age.

@JPOSU You were watching the wrong feed. When Paddy nailed a 3 the Spurs announcer yelled "GDAYYYYYYY MATE"

Lmfao the Clippers announcer really yelled “get in there baby!” On a Kawhi shot to tie the game at the buzzer

@JayDeutsch_ Better than Collinsworth patronizing the audience with "this is the Eagles time too, they've got a QB situation to figure out!" As if Nate fucking Sudfeld has any chance of being the Eagles starting QB next year. He may remind some of Nick Foles!!

I can’t believe the number of verified twitter ‘sports guy’ accounts that are tweeting in bewilderment of the Hurts benching. This ain’t rocket science.

@kates4cubbies Never been to Dallas, but confused about the Indianapolis analogy? You can walk everywhere in Indy. I've always appreciated that downtown Indy has a big city aesthetic but is much more tight-knit in terms of commuting & less crowded than most big cities. Only been a few times tho

@JPOSU I am very much enjoying these Thunder +/- splits through 1.25 games. Hill/Horford are too good for what they're tryin to do

Al Horford has had an insanely quick trigger on 3s, which is great to see. He was criticized a lot in Philly and Boston for reluctance to shoot at times.

@iHateShaun We beat the Bucks by 20. There's a lot of fluky stuff we cannot count on a night to night basis. Hopefully we focus on the stuff we can replicate---the ball/man movement, the energy on D. This was a great night.

@TheKnicksWall Maybe the 10 best non-Mitch individual defensive minutes of the season. He does so much out there. My guess is Thibs planned on his shift being shorter (especially with Payton's hot start) but Frank kept earning more time.

@JCMacriNBA He also had a great 1v1 possession against Middleton and a great help on a different possession.. He's far from perfect but the improvement is very noticeable. As is the increase in effort.

Knox got the highlight block earlier, but he’s had a couple of dubious snafus. Completely missed a box out on Wilson earlier (didn’t end up mattering) and just now momentarily lost his man, resulting in a back door cut. He’s been better, but still needs to lock in way more.

@AllbrightNFL How is age "irrelevant"? The 49ers had incentive to be patient with Shanahan bc if he were to pan out they could potentially have him for 10-20 years. That scenario does not exist for Fangio in Denver. For him to produce value results have to come more immediately.

@GeoffRas22 The Broncos brought in completely new systems on offense and defense. Age is irrelevant.

Hope is something you give yourself. The smart thing to do is give the coach the third year. Same way the Niners did Kyle Shanahan after he went 10-22 his first two seasons.
clarence braud@cbraud123

@AllbrightNFL But one can see hope in the 49ers. No hope in broncoland. But we have live through this up coming lame duck year.

I hope everyone realizes how bad Poku's numbers will most likely look like this year, but it's more important that he's getting these kinds of reps at the NBA level. Already expecting some overreactions from people giving up on him at the end of the year, but just be patient

@SeanCarrollNBA @TheKnicksWall Nice write-up Sean! If that's RJ's "worst" I think there's a lot of good to come. Shots didn't fall, but he made a lot of good plays as a distributor (especially considering the, ahem, lack of space), and continues to improve defensively. Knox was also a positive last night IMO.
