So, I wasn’t going to say anything about this online. It’s a kind of weird fact about myself that I’ve been a little obsessed with since I had kids. But today I am the exact age that my dad was when he died. 44 years 6 months and 6 days. My oldest is the same age I was when he died (18). It’s a crazy reality that my ridiculous brain has been gnawing on for years. When I think about how young that is and how young I feel and how much he has missed it just makes me so very sad. I try not to take anything for granted because of it.

US-Israel started the war. They killed over 3,000 Iranians. I am not cheering US troops killed. They shouldn't be there as you said, so let's end it now. Retribution isn't justice. Justice is justice. The families of the dead US troops deserve better than more US troops put in harms way.

If Americans are killed, we hit back, it’s our doctrine & likely already underway, so not worth arguing about. What comes next is the issue. We should remove our troops/bases to deprive Iran of targets, deescalate the war & transition to economic negotiations to open the SOH.

By this logic Iran must hit the US thousands of times in order to make up for what the US did to its people. Strike hard then deescalate is an oxymoron.

Tonight we will have to hit Iran hard in response to our troops being killed in Jordan. After that, we need to end this before it escalates further. Strike & simultaneously pull our forces out—remove Iran’s leverage and move on to economic negotiations. Restore order.

In 2016 we had Russiagate. In 2026, we have Chinagate. The US empire is trying to cover up bipartisan failures by escalating a Cold War. The Democrats blamed Russia. Now Trump and the GOP are blaming China. This is a CIA cover up of the real problem: endless bipartisan war and austerity to enrich bankers.
