after I stopped laughing, I got curious about how a bed-cooling system would work, so I started researching and I learned: 1) it's basically a glorified waterbed 2) the EightSleep subreddit is an addictive read. you cannot even begin to imagine all the ways this bed malfunctions

Woke up because my AI controlled bed is too cold. Went to adjust temperature and I can’t because the Eight Sleep app is currently broken. Can’t adjust by hand because I have a Pod3, not the upgraded Pod4 with physical controls. Now I am stuck in a cold bed. This feels dystopian.

@carstenhag @HuwHopkins @flightradar24 If they had the cut-off based around lining up for finals, rather than wheels-on-tarmac, then it would avoid low altitude go-arounds like this and allow all queued up aircraft to land. They could even bring forward the curfew by a few minutes to account for the time difference.

@HuwHopkins @flightradar24 The curfew is already extended if there's a delay in the flight. Missing it because of a few minutes is stupid & yes, loud, but how else would you do it? If you are not strict on this, airlines would keep landing at 00:05, 00:10, 00:20 every day...
