@AirbnbHelp watch out Airbnb terms and conditions are a scam. They will charge your credit card for services not provided. Complaint pending with consumer affairs. This is big tech screwing the everyday consumer

@AirbnbHelp don’t trust Airbnb. Its fine print means they charge your card for unfair items. I ended up bank chargeback to get my money back. Won’t use their service again. Referred them to consumer affairs.

@AirbnbHelp Airbnb requires govt regulation. A guest makes a “request for booking”, then they charge your credit card when the host accepts, without giving the guest proper notice. This is systemic misrepresentation by @Airbnb, a rip off requiring @acccgovau intervention @AlboMP

Affairs Vic and ACCC. Time to regulate big tech, Airbnb misrepresents to consumers and exercises monopoly power.

internal team still hasn’t contacted me. I cancelled because host didn’t provide check-in access ie. a clear breach of Airbnb’s Guest Refund Policy. please confirm the case is now being handled by a senior case manager & I will get update today
