We @animocaventures have been tracking DeAI closely since 2022, and started engaging with veteran AI teams, like we do for gaming. Sharing more abt our lead investment in a DeAI project: 🔥@KIPprotocol Julian @julian_KIP and Jen @HumanLevelJen are veterans in the AI and ML space, having used ML techniques to serve large organisations with their data analysis needs since 2019. They were in particular specialists in the then-new techniques of Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG). 🧠 We engaged the KIP team in 22/23 specifically to use their RAG framework to analyse portco and investment data. This was a force-multiplier for us in light of the sheer mountain of data we receive everyday. 📊 The results using KIP’s tech were impressive, given that we didn’t have to train our own models, but were still able to use AI to analyse data.
