I have found no greater satisfaction than working with my colleagues @UKinCameroon to deliver a stupendous #Coronation party in 🇨🇲 with 400+ guests in attendance. 📸 @karawamedia

In moments of tension, our commitment to nonviolence must be unwavering. Violence - whether in the streets, online, or behind closed doors - erodes the very foundations of democracy. It silences voices, distorts truth, and undermines the dignity of citizens. #NoToViolence in 🇨🇲

🇨🇲 Cameroon’s elections commission, once again showing its lack of impartiality, has declared the main opposition candidate, Maurice Kamto, ineligible to run. In our entire history, we’ve never elected a new president. We don’t know what it feels like. A people so oppressed, we’ve forgotten the taste of freedom. But we will not back down. This country belongs to its people, not the criminals clinging to power. #FreeCameroon

She wasn’t just beautiful, Amanda had an extraordinary voice that carried both warmth and grace. A young Cameroonian in her 20s, she was calm, soft-spoken, intelligent, and deeply ambitious. But what struck me the most about her was her quiet strength, how slow she was to anger, how thoughtful in her ways. She was my “small,” as we used to call it, and she meant so much to me. Last week, Amanda left work like any other day, heading home to Ndamukong. But around K-Town, violence, once again, interrupted ordinary life. Stray bullets found her path. The bike rider who was taking her home now lies in the ICU. Amanda never made it. She was taken from us, just like that. Now she lies in the morgue. About Ten lives, ten stories, were lost in Bamenda last week alone. And Amanda’s name has now been added to that ever-growing list. It’s another harsh reminder of what this crisis has cost us. We are walking through life carrying so much grief that sometimes we feel numb. We’ve been hurt to our core and yet it never stops. My heart is broken. But more than anything, I send my deepest condolences to Amanda’s family, especially her parents and her mom Delphine, who were not just her guides but her best friends. I can’t begin to imagine their pain. May Amanda’s soul rest in perfect peace. May her voice never be forgotten. May we never stop fighting for the peace she and so many others deserved. #EndAnglophoneCrisis 1/2

Gerald Afadani@GeraldAfadani

It's a delicate balance between protecting sensitive/personal info and responding to calls for transparency. However, considering the scale of data exposure, the minimum would be for @elecamofficiel to urgently introduce a multi-factor authentication feature to their system.

George Achu Mofor, who resigned as Governor of the East Province during the 1992 presidential election after refusing to enforce "exceptional security measures" put in place to crack down on the opposition, has died in the US. See copy of his famous resignation letter below #Cameroon #Democracy

#US President Biden grants executive pardon to his son. When accountability yields to the influence of power, the rule of law is shadowed by privilege. It'd take forever for the @StateDept and likemindeds to rebuild any moral authority to 'lecture' autocrats about #democracy, #governance and the rule of law.
