Today at State House, we signed a bilateral cooperation agreement between the Public Service of the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda. This partnership, which includes training Human Resources under the Civil Service College framework, will strengthen collaboration in public administration, capacity building, skills development, and institutional learning between our two countries over the next five years, as we continue to build efficient and people-centred public service systems. Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo continue to deepen their bilateral cooperation through the signing of Memoranda of Understanding across key sectors, including trade, security, ICT, public administration, diplomatic relations, tourism, and transport. These agreements mark an important step in strengthening people-to-people ties, improving cross-border cooperation, expanding trade opportunities, enhancing connectivity, and supporting peace and stability in the Great Lakes Region. #M7SwearsIn2026 #NRMat40
