@worldofconcept @Rothmus I just checked: In the extended edition this exact moment is: 2:50:19. It's close but not exact.
English

@Rothmus Does this refer to the cinema version or the extended edition?

@IOHK_Charles It's been more than 9 years, but I love the way you thought about this back then.
For anyone interested, check it out: youtube.com/watch?v=9d3bp3…

@IOHK_Charles Charles, I think it's time for a remake of one of your first videos on YT about the programmable society. We desperately need to communicate new social governance structures.

Kennedy waking up to the horrors of the People's Republic of California

Robert F. Kennedy Jr@RobertKennedyJr
We are challenging a draconian CA law restricting crypto transactions to $1,000. First victim: immigrants, who use crypto for remittances. Second victim: America's tech leadership. Third victim: the basic freedom to transact. Please support us, BAC + others in reversing this law. Learn more here: dfpi.ca.gov/wp-content/upl…

I am a sucker for all things self optimization.
As simple as that.
2. Transport nimmt echt viel Zeit in Anspruch. Das ist echt tote Zeit, wenn man sie nicht für irgendwas Vernünftiges nutzt, und es sei es für Meditation.

@cautious3302 @fkronawitter1 I was thinking the same thing. Why not go for the 20Y, for example? Could you explain your rationale for choosing the 2Y @fkronawitter1 ?

@DctrCornelius @RayTrounday @zerohedge But why has it been this high over the recent period? What is the incentive of buying all those 0DTE? Spot-Price manipulations maybe?

@_sisma_ @TimmerFidelity It's probably too early to call.
Research suggests a lag of 12 to 24 months before IR increases have a measurable impact on the real economy.
Let's see where we are in March 2024. If we don't see signs of a slowdown by then, your statement will be strengthened.
English

@TimmerFidelity Would it be correct to say the US economy is the least IR-sensitive that it’s ever been?
English

Rate hikes are designed to slow down the economy, but despite a long, hawkish campaign by the Fed, much of the economy seems little affected. Ironically, the borrower most sensitive to the Fed’s rate hikes is the US government itself. Debt-service costs in the US are now approaching $1 trillion, which is not a trivial share of a $6.3 trillion budget (2022).

English

Robin Brooks@robin_j_brooks
6. After all, the Euro zone is more dependent on bank lending than the US. An equal shock to lending standards will have bigger fallout for GDP and depth of recession in the Euro zone than the US. Japan - while also bank dependent - is so far immune to tighter lending standards.

@The_Plain_Bagel Could you shed some light on the AT1 bond issue? I'm still struggeling to understand whether price losses in AT1 bonds are market to market and therefore deacrease Tier 1 capital and increase the leverage ratio?

@PeterBofinger Would you generally agree to the following statement: increasing interest rates -> new credit to private sector decreases -> fewer investments -> decreasing economic growth -> recession probability increases

@nullnein @Schuldensuehner I thought the deal would be off if CDS spreads go > 100bps?
English

@Schuldensuehner Do they still have a way of getting out of the contract with rising CDS spreads?
