@Tacochu_ Ninja with its spender on it's 3 is more potency uncombo'd than it's 1. So there's specific micro opti you can do using that if you know it won't cost you at the end of the fight. Besides the point everyone is missing with the 123 change is SE's track history of dumbing down jobs

i see people mad about ffxiv shrinking 123 skill sequences into just pressing 1 three times, but i struggle to think of cases where pressing 2 or 3 out of sequence would make any meaningful difference.

@king_of_games34 Could you clarify where in what they have shown so far contains the examples of either uniqueness or skill expression that you're referencing here.

I really hope them removing the 2 min meta in Evercold doesn’t mean all party buffs are gone. Removing all forms of party synergy in an MMO makes zero sense and it’s disheartening seeing so many people cheering for it.

i didn't wanna make a sappy post.. but i had a really heartfelt & fun time @ fanfest. meeting my friends (most, for first time) and being able to share and convey our energy & emotions with each other was very special 😢💕 i'm grateful for the amazing people ive met through xiv

This Fan Fest was so incredible and I had so much fun exploring with friends and meeting everyone. My heart is so full and I’m so happy to have my friends in my life who helped make this trip as fun as it was. 3 years for next fanfest can’t come fast enough

Fanfest was awesome, miles better than Vegas in 2023 imo. Saw many friends for the first time in person and met a lot of fans! Excited to get back into content creation soon, EVERCOLD got me hyped up quite a bit. Please look forward to it :)

@_7aaln @Laganish It's a gain for ninja to press its 3 with a spender at the end of a fight or right before significant downtime over starting a new combo.

@Laganish Getting rid of the 1-2-3 is good imo because you’ll never at any point EVER click any of them on their own. 2 and 3 are literally just there to fill up the hotbar when you think about it.

I think XIV’s evolved jobs look exciting and the dev panel had me super hyped, but I hate how context-sensitive actions utterly rule game input I love 1-2-3, I love launch sequences, I love the physicality of pressing different buttons, please don’t ruin my NIN mudras
