Well done, Montenegro!🇪🇺🇲🇪   The provisional closure of another negotiation chapter brings the total to 14, marking an important step in the negotiations.   Progress is real, but further reforms are needed to close the remaining chapters. We will keep supporting 🇲🇪on its EU path.

Today, as part of the Moldova Growth Plan, we are delivering €189 million following the successful completion of 24 key reforms. Moldova is advancing reforms at record speed, boosting investor confidence and reshaping its future.

Good exchange with @GertJanEU on working closely with the @EU_Commission on the preliminary benchmarks put forward by Member States. Early guidance on details & sequencing of reforms will help Moldova advance preparations faster and maintain momentum in the accession process.

Great to see DG ENEST represented by Anna Jarosz-Friis, Director of the Ukraine Service, at the European Defence Fund Info Days. Investing in dual-use technologies & strengthening 🇺🇦's defence capacity is key for our shared security & the integration of our strategic industries.

Happy to join today’s @PIIE talk on the geopolitics of 🇪🇺 enlargement hosted by @nicolas_veron In a world of growing power competition, countries in our neighbourhood want to join the 🇪🇺. Bringing them on board is in our strategic interest, both for economic & security reasons.

ENEST Days also offered a good opportunity to connect with colleagues from HQ and 🇪🇺 Delegations. We discussed how to strengthen cooperation and heard useful insights on the Large Scale Review. Thank you to teams in Brussels and across our Delegations for your work & commitment.

Today, I participated in the 6th EU-Belarus Consultative Group. I reaffirmed the 🇪🇺's commitment toward a democratic, sovereign Belarus. Seeing the democratic forces united in their fight only reinforced our determination.

The 6th Steering Board of the Ukraine Investment Framework has endorsed 8 new programmes to help tackle 🇺🇦's most urgent needs. They aim to unlock €3.4 billion of investment to support: ⚡ Energy & connectivity 🚜 Agriculture 📚 Education 🛡️ Dual-use technologies & innovation

Happy to participate in today’s panel on rebuilding 🇺🇦#Ukraine at the @EIB Group Forum. Through the Ukraine Facility and strong cooperation with public & private partners, the EU supports 🇺🇦’s reforms, resilience, recovery and reconstruction, aligned with its 🇪🇺 path.

Very good exchange with Turkish journalists in Brussels today. In a shifting geopolitical landscape, 🇪🇺 and 🇹🇷 must deepen cooperation on regional connectivity, improve the Customs Union & advance economic integration, while keeping the rule of law in the centre of our dialogue.

Just spoke with @ZelenskyyUA. We are focused on our shared priorities: conclude the adoption of the Ukraine Support Loan and of the 20th package of sanctions. We also discussed the wider impact of the developments in the Middle East on energy prices, on energy security and on availability of badly needed defence materials.

Proud to announce that more than 700 #GlobalGateway investment operations are now active in 🇦🇱🇦🇲🇦🇿🇧🇦🇬🇪🇽🇰🇲🇩🇲🇪🇲🇰🇷🇸🇹🇷🇺🇦. From improving energy storage in 🇺🇦 to water infrastructure in 🇦🇱, these projects drive change across the Western Balkans & our Eastern Neighbourhood.

Today we took another step in gradual integration of our Western Balkans partners by opening negotiations to extend Roam Like at Home to the region. Once concluded, it will enable calls, texts & data at EU rates, delivering tangible benefits for citizens under the 🇪🇺Growth Plan.

Dear President @ZelenskyyUa, it is clear that the future of a democratic and prosperous Ukraine is in the EU. You have made a lot of progress in your reform efforts under the toughest of circumstances. Now, Ukraine must keep pushing forward. Keep strengthening its institutions. Deepening the rule of law. And building resilience against destabilising forces. We will continue to support Ukraine on its accession path.

4 years ago, Russia launched its war of aggression against Ukraine. Since then, we have stood united in our support for 🇺🇦, mobilising €194.9 billion in total. We'll continue to provide political, financial, economic, humanitarian & military support. For as long as it takes.
