I *cannot* believe this was real. These colors were real. I've never seen such a deep blue Aurora before. I've seen blue Aurora, but my goodness this was something else. What a beautiful night. Oh, and yes, the snow is purple from the Aurora light reflection, I kid you not. Central Colorado last night/early this morning. #cowx #aurora

@StrmchsrHunterF Have you experienced them taking it off in the crib and going ham finger painting the wall and themselves yet? That was always fun 🤣💩 all of mine are out of that stage now (11, 8, 7) but it’s funny now. Was not at the time 😅 oh the joys of parenting. Never a dull moment.

Sorry to interrupt your timeline, but one of the grossest things about being a parent just occurred: My son decided to eat his own poop after a blowout. I'm going to need a 23-19 type shower for him. Now. IYKYK. Ew.

@ben_williams_wx I don't mean to sound insufferable (I'm sure I do lol) but it's been like clockwork the past few years. (I'll also be in Europe Jun 21-Jul 6 & Aug 30-Sep 15, so mark those stretches down 😉)

I'll be flying to Montreal for work Sunday so I expect another memorable event I'll have to sit out 🥲. (from what I've noted in recent CIPS cycles, analogs for Sunday are much more eye-opening than Monday...maybe a post about this later)

Felt great to stand out under dark skies again last night and document a pretty darn cool aurora substorm. West of Manvel, North Dakota.
