The promise was rates capped to ~CPI. He achieved that. State Govt responsible for timing/delivery of its infrastructure. Post covid delivery of projects/housing is a pretty bad everywhere. Tourist hotspots = traffic. Incentives to create more jobs/strong economy might be a discount in the eyes of those rejecting those things. We're way off the trump licensing deal - except I think you've made it clear you don't like development.

Coomera bypass, light rail extension projects are behind schedule, budgets exceeded. He did give discounts to developers, but rate payers pay more.

I did enjoy this response to the news that the Gold Coast is going to get a Trump erection… apparently it will be quite a shock in Vienna and Salzburg.

@MikeCarlton01 Might I advise that any contractor or subcontractor involved in this building, if it ever actually gets built, demands and ensures that he is paid before he starts works. Trump is notorious for stiffing his contractors until they force him into court.
