@SunPolitics I like how she started engaging with him as it was clear he was driving away

@SunPolitics Erm. Who's gonna tell her? Historically, politically, philosophically, culturally: dissent is about as British a it gets.

My husband spends most of his time at home playing video games. Probably to avoid communicating with me and our kids. He can play as many video games as he likes when I've sprung a divorce on him and he only sees the kids once a fortnight.

Why are you keeping him, not knowing what's wrong, and without the knowledge or equipment to mend him, with no appropriate housing or food, and asking random strangers? Please phone a bird rescue or wildlife hospital. Injured wildlife aren't DIY projects. Please get this poor creature the help he needs.

Starmer called Westminster's obsession with Partygate serious enough to demand Boris resign. Now he calls accountability for a national security scandal 'fundamentally unserious.' A man with Epstein and China/Russia links given Strap 3 clearance. Parliament misled. Four officials sacked. Attorney General who pursued innocent British troops. This isn't obsession. This is accountability. The same standard he applied to Boris must apply to him. You cannot change the rules when it’s your turn. @KemiBadenoch @Conservatives

Via @joshglancy: Starmer acknowledges the Mandelson appointment was a mistake that needs looking at, but he is also deeply frustrated by Westminster’s obsession with it. He views a political-media class that only wants to talk about vetting forms and not about the Strait of Hormuz as fundamentally unserious. “I understand why there are questions,” he says. “I’ve answered I don’t know how many of them. But at the same time, I’ve got a huge amount of work to do on the war on two fronts.”

@BethRigby @joshglancy Starmer is not involved in the Iran crisis. Neither is the EU. He can try as much as he can to deflect the news narrative from the fact that he’s either incompetent or a liar. This isn’t going away.

@GeorgeTrefgarne The US election will be a circus and show the electorate why it is a great idea to stick with Labour as they seem to be the only sensible option not embracing trump.

@GeorgeTrefgarne I always remember the Tory years and how the next issue would always topple Johnson. It was only an accumulation of huge issues that got him. Wishful thinking I reckon George. If it went back to the labour members I think they would vote to keep him.

@GeorgeTrefgarne You've got a real issue with the way women MPs look. Not harming you in the slightest yet you can't help yourself!

@GeorgeTrefgarne 'woke' again. Some indefinable word we can blame everything on. Brexit has been catastrophic and we can clearly see that wasn't 'woke'. Whatever that means.
