The tech job recession is over. As you can see in the chart below since October of 2022 we've seen hundreds of thousands of layoffs. But starting in June/July that ended abruptly. The Fed pausing or cutting rates as I predicted back in Q1 would be the start of the next tech job bull market. The jury is still out on my prediction but all signs and data point to a large tech job boomerang. This corroborated by our own data on fortune 1,000 companies starting to hire very aggressively for the first time since March of 2022. What do you think? Are tech jobs going to make a comeback this year? 2024? Never? Comment below.
