@NS_1872 It would be the right course of action. However, it will fall on deaf ears. SFA, SPL, and Scottish government will do nothing but put a plaster on the scab. The world saw it, and the whole shambolic incident. They will be watching what punishment is dished out.

If I was Hearts, the first thing I would be doing tomorrow morning would be contacting the Court of Arbitration for Sport. Would be the most open and shut case in history. The next few weeks will have absolutely colossal implications for sporting integrity.

It's certainly easier for them if they just pretend the match had finished. We can all see that there was still time to play, even if the contest was over.

There's no doubt Celtic fans invaded the pitch before the game had finished. The rules are clear Celtic must forfeit the cup Hearts won. The clock was still ticking another 30 secs plus injury time. If you cheat you lose. @ScottishFA

There was about 40 seconds left and the idiots ran onto the pitch ruining reputation for the good ones. Why don't sfa the corrupt clowns come out and address this then? @Decksyo @DavidDhenry @ScottishFA that’s not even the point. the game should have been restarted at the centre point after a goal is scored before the red can end the game but the fans already invaded the pitch and that didn’t happen. According to rule, it’s abandonment.

So on Celtic v Hearts. Serious point. When Celtic's third goal goes in there are clearly 30 seconds of the match remaining. So the game has to restart. But it didn't. The game had to be abandoned because of the actions of the Celtic fans. Hearts players were assaulted. So in any normal circumstances surely that would mean the awarding of a 3-0 win to Hearts.

And this shows how much of a farce Scottish leagues are.. there was a similar incident not too long ago in EPL.. can't mind what game, will check, ball strikes defender on the arm n it goes out for a corner.
