@Jordan_Cormack Thats a very interesting approach to move the sensor in 2D to cover a larger range. Seems to provide a really good resolution as well from simple sensors. I assume the lens quality itself and shallow angles at the edges might be challenging for normal sensors.

I tried something similar in 2020, but didn't get results anywhere near as good as yours (I think the scanner was partly to blame). I moved to a custom motion system and image stiching instead for 125x100mm images
