@bballbreakdown Because people don’t like watching it and it’s an abnormal shot motion. Yes, the defender is out of position and fell for a fake, jumping point A to B, this is a foul 100%. What’s also true is the offensive player can capitalize on the advantage without stopping the game.

@Major_Passons You can jump in a direction away from the airborn defender, but jumping into the airborn defender needs to be an offensive foul. And we by clearly lands before coming close to contacting the shooter. Had the shooter jumped straight up instead, contact would have never been made.

The NBA needs to implement a "natural shooting motion" rule. If you move unnaturally to draw a foul it should be an offensive foul

Interesting take, I’m more in favor of changing some of the calls. There’s definitely a few defensive fouls that should be offensive fouls and some defensive fouls that should be a no call.
