The British taxpayer is now paying £125.25 a week for each extra wife in polygamous marriages and DWP just hiked it again in April. While genuine British families and pensioners get scraps. This isn’t compassion. It’s madness. Who else is absolutely furious about this?

Isn’t it odd that Rayner’s £40K tax deal is announced just in time for her to run for No.10 and she escapes any fine while tax expert Dan Neidle forecast you and I would have faced an £8K penalty. Stinks doesn’t it?

@JuliaHB1 @LeeHurstComic HMRC under political pressure to clear her; nothing to see here! It makes me sick that those we should be able to trust the most, all seem to have their noses in the trough. I would have been sacked as a civil servant for less.

How on earth has Angela Rayner been "cleared" by HMRC? She didn't pay the extra £40,000 stamp duty that was due. She didn't take the specialist tax advice on her flat purchase that she was advised to take. She failed to pay the extra stamp duty that she, as Housing Secretary, had brought in for second home purchasers. For HMRC not to issue a fine means they judged her decision as "reasonable care" having been taken, or it was possibly "careless", but not a "deliberate" underpayment. She clearly did not take "reasonable care" to ensure her tax was correct. And if it was "careless", it was *deliberate* carelessness. Do you seriously think that if YOU underpaid your taxes by £40,000 as the then Deputy Prime Minister did, that you would get away without a fine? Sorry, but this stinks.

EXCL: Angela Rayner has been cleared by HMRC of deliberate wrongdoing or carelessness over her tax affairs, paving the way for a potential leadership bid if Keir Starmer’s grip on power unravels. The former DPM has settled £40,000 in unpaid stamp duty, but has not paid any penalty as a result of the investigation. HMRC was also satisfied there was no tax avoidance. Rayner tells me she was “bruised” by whole experience because of intrusion into her disabled son’s personal life, but also because it had appeared as though she was “in it for myself” rather than on the side of ordinary people. Rayner indicated she may run in event of a contest as she would “play my part” and that she understood why Labour MPs were so upset following last week’s election crushing. She said Starmer should “reflect on” stepping aside.

So let me get this right….. @Keir_Starmer invites into Downing St a murderer who executed countless innocent human beings? A former wanted terrorist leader of Al Queda who happily posed with two decapitated heads? A man who raped female captives? But refuses entry to @JoeyMannarino to speak at a rally because he might use words you find offensive? Starmer has turned this country in a soulless messy laughing stock.

Sainsburys claim their chickens have happier healthier lives ? Problem is this chicken would have died in the most barbaric stressful violent way its not really as it states on the label? This is Halal and i want it banned from my country ! No animal should die in this way , we have our own ways that farmers lawfully dispatch animals which is humane , why are people buying these products if you claim you are an animal lover and care for animals ? Stop buying this meat , stop the trade ! BOYCOTT HALAL !

This is the weak gimp and cat loving Callum Palmer who threw Apollo the cat off the balcony for likes.🤬🤬 This is all he got! “Sentencing | 12 month community order; two-month alcohol abstinence order; £500 costs. Banned from keeping animals for seven years but can appeal after five years.” Callum Palmer, 19, from Bristol – callously threw a cat from a balcony by his tail for Snapchat likes. Palmer’s sickening attack on the male cat, named Apollo, was filmed during a drinking session and uploaded to Snapchat. The 11-second clip showed Palmer on the outdoor balcony of a flat in the Kingswood area of Bristol, where Apollo was sitting. He was filmed leaning down to stroke the friendly cat, who rolled onto his back to be petted. Palmer then crouched down and said “I love cats” – before grabbing the animal by his tail and flinging him over the balcony and into the air.”

Well done Greece 🇬🇷. Greece’s highest court has issued a landmark ruling: animals must be made unconscious before they are killed. This ends a long-standing exemption that allowed slaughter while animals were still fully aware. The court based its decision on animal welfare law and said the goal is to reduce suffering at the moment of death. In plain terms, animals cannot be killed while they are awake and able to feel pain. Any slaughter method that skips the step of making the animal unconscious is affected. That includes some halal and kosher practices, though not all halal methods avoid stunning. Slaughter remains legal, but the animal must not be conscious when it happens. Supporters call this a major step toward reducing cruelty and updating animal protection standards. Critics say it interferes with religious traditions and the freedom to practice them. The court chose to prioritize animal welfare, saying preventing unnecessary suffering comes first under current law. Whether people agree or not, the message is clear: if animals are killed for food, it must be done in a way that reduces pain and fear as much as possible. Many say this change is long overdue and reflects what we now understand about animal suffering.
